Can SimCity 4 run in Windows 7?
undo replied to LivingInThePast's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
I use Windows 7 64-bit and my SC4 crashes sometimes, albeit not often. It didn't crash when I had Windows XP. -
I don't think South America is such an obvious location. There's not even a single palm tree ... It could well be a Portuguese or Spanish city.

Poll: What other city-building games do you play, besides SC4 and CXL?

Originally posted by: nathanthemayor I play SCS(Yes, I know we all hate it), as well, I play SC Classic online.quote> Well, that's why I didn't add SCS as an option... But I guess it is a citybuilding game, after all. As for me, I also like to play Pharaoh sometimes. In my opinion, it's still one of the best citybuilders out there when it comes to gameplay. Currently I'm playing Tropico 3 a lot. It's not as realistic as SC4, but it comprises political management (something SC4 doesn't have), and it surely is fun to play. And the graphics are very good. -
What level of game difficulty do you usually use?

Originally posted by: Prophet42 I always play on hard, because, quite frankly, hard isn't that hard.quote> Seconded. I've always found it odd that Easy and Medium levels are so easy, and the Hard level is what I would call "Normal". -
Lisbon, Portugal Old Lisbon skyline: West Lisbon skyline: East Lisbon skyline: Arguably one of the most innately beautiful cities of the world. That's my (probably biased) opinion.

Lisbon (Portugal) proudly boasts some of the ugliest architecture works of all time, by the infamous, sex-maniac architect Tomás Taveira: Amoreiras commercial and residential complex Sporting Lisbon Stadium --- However, I believe no building on the world will be able to outdo this one in ugliness. I present you the church of St. Francis Xavier, by architect Troufa Real. Currently under construction, it will be half carrack, half 16th century fort, painted in lively red orange and golden colors, and it will have a 100 metre minaret, with a glass sphere in the middle, with a panoramic view.
