Now there's some wishful thinking...Pats maybe, but the Cowboys?  Don't think so, Dallas is good, but not nearly that good.  3-peating to the SB is a very difficult thing to do and the only team that stands out in my mind that managed to accomplish that feat was Buffalo who did 4 yrs in a row, but we all know the results of those SB's.

You gotta be kiddin' me!?!  Miami actually won a game!?  Rats......guess you know who I picked....blasted Ravens....

I bet that Browns/Bills game was a fun one to watch, depending on what team you support, but these 'snow' games are always fun to watch.  It always brings to mind the old Paul Simon song 'Slip Sliding Away' from some 30 years ago18.gif

And what can we say about Favre that hasn't already been said this season?  Holds just about every QB record both good and bad and has taken a team with no chance logically to make the playoffs to a 12-2 start and a 1st round bye.   Truly impressive to say the least.

Since I forgot to post my picks this week, I'll just go with my pick for the MNF game tomorrow night.  Vikings are gonna tear up the field with their running game and decimate Chicago's vaulted defense.

well, there are only two teams in the NFC that are capable of winning a super bowl IMO, the cowboys, and the packers, and the packers can only get so much more outta farve, while the cowboys look poised for 3-4 great years.

I agree with ya on that, except for only getting so much more outta Favre, he's not your usual QB and I say he's got at least 3 years left him if he chooses to, but in all likelihood, he'll retire after the season.

And whaddya know?  Philly just beat Dallas.  Now the pressure is on Dallas to win their final 2 to keep home field.....or they'll have to come up to GB play on the frozen tundra, and it's been darn cold there the past few weeks......

The force  was not with Tony-wan Romo today.

The boys looked pathetic.

They need to get thier act together these next 2 games.

How bout them Chargers?

LT will at least get me some Fantasy money.

Dolphins win pats Win to set up  a not so interesting game next week at New England

Browns win 8-0 Were they playing Baseball?

Yay! The chargers OWNED the Lions. Big surprise today, Romo did horrible. Ouch. That's gonna hurt my fantasy team. Finally the Dolphins win, and the Patriots inch closer to a perfect season.

It was a lot of fun - at least from the comfort of my own home. Of course, I am sure Browns fans who were there were not complaining. That game was one of those "good old good ones" - and a strange score to top it off.

The Ravens have a remarkably bad team - and getting beat by not only the Dolphins tops that off, but they were beat by the Bengals, one of the worst all-around teams in the NFL. Gotta feel that there are some serious changes coming to that organization soon.

Meanwhile, the Bengals guaranteed another losing season with the loss to San Fran last night. Not a real surprise - the entire team seems to could care less. Amazing that, since Mike Brown took over the leadership in 1991, they have had a total of 1 winning seasons. One stinking winning season. No matter who is the coach, who is the quarterback, who is on defense and who is on offense - when a team consistently loses like that year after year (total record, 92-172), the fault lies on the shoulders of one person.

I saw highlights on NFL.com of the Browns-Bills game. That was totally awesome. We used to play football in the snow back in high school. It's always more fun in crappy weather.

Here's hoping I get to watch some more awesome Adrian Peterson highlights as he leads my Vikings to another big win!

greekman-no chance. You pick off peyton manning six times and still only win by less than a touchdown.

We blow out dallas and pittsburg.

You blow out Detriot?

The Browns game was great to watch. I knew my Brownies were gonna have a good season but i never thought id see them at 9-5. Even tho the score was only 8-0 they dominated the bills except for that last drive. Hey if anybody didnt notice, but the whole offense went sleeveless in this game to show the Bills how tough they  were. DAMN I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!!

And thanx to the 49ers, Dolphins and Jaguars.

Greekman-well, i suppose, but I know nothing about the browns, cept they have an explosive offense and a mediocre to crappy defense. However, the same thing goes for the chargers, cept a stronger D, so I would expect a shootout with the chargers winning by maybe 7

I wouldn't be surprised if the Chargers won, but all of their stats are downgraded a bit. But still, with a weak defense, they can score many points. They scored 51 points against the Detroit Lions.

Pro Bowl day-

the pats have 3-4 locks

Tom Brady

Randy Moss

Vince Wilfork

Mike Vrabel

(last two may not get in due to fan voting, but they deserve it)

and a couple other guys who may or may not get in, but I could make a case for

-whole o-line

-welker

-asuante samuel

-ellis hobbs/larry izzo for special teams

realistically welker would be the one out of those last 4 to go...I'd actually take him over Wilfork.

Oh, and Pats are still 13-0 in your sig...

Anyone catch that Vikings game last night? Ugly! All the highlights were for the Bears, except for Ferguson's 71 yard catch, AD's 1 yard hurdle and his lovely direction change for a score...and yet the Vikes still won...weird. What can you expect when Brian Urlacher has 2 sacks, and interception and a fumble recovery, but the rest of the team does...what...exactly? The Vikings made sooo many mistakes, from the botched handoffs (one a giveaway and another for a TD?) to missing extra points (How?)...they really shouldn't have won. Thanks Bears, for keeping us alive. Next up - Washington. A must win for both teams. It's going to be a good one.

As for the Pro Bowl, Sean Taylor was the first player to be voted in posthumously (first in any sport since Pelle Lindburgh in the 1986 NHL all star game). That's quite an honor. Dallas has 11 players, Pats have 8, and the entire NFC South has none. It goes to show how lame this can be when the Jaguars are 10-4 and don't have a single pro bowler, even with Gerrard having one pick on the year with crappy receivers, and Jones-Drew having one hell of a year. I am happy that Adrian Peterson is going. As a rookie! Damn...imagine where he's going to be in a few years...

Its a great year in Cleveland... back to back National championship games for OSU football, Cavs get to the finals, Indians do fantastic, and (what's this?!) the Browns have won OVER 1/2 of their games and the playoffs is likely.

Wow... I am speechless

Yeah, I watched MNF last night and I agree, it was a piss-poor played game on both sides and even with all those chances early to run up the score on the Vikes...the Bears couldn't get it done...again.  I also found that the 'Jaws' [can't remember his name, but see him on ESPN all the time], commentator was unprofessional when voicing his opinions on how awful the Bears are....He had one snide comment after another directed at the Bears.....Aren't play by play commentators supposed to be non-biased?.....

Anyways, here are my picks for week 16......

PIT @  STL

DAL @ CAR

GB @ CHI

CLE @ CIN

KC @ DET

HOU @ IND

NYG @ BUF

OAK @ JAC

PHI @ NO

ATL @ ARI

TB @ SF

MIA @ NE

BAL @ SEA

NYJ @ TEN

WAS @ MIN

DEN @ SD

drevil-don't think i need to tell you bout the year we've been having 3.gif

8 pro bowlers-tied for most in franchise history. Cowboys absolutely dominate NFC roster.

fever-you may think welker deserves it more, but welker has just gone four steps, catch, run, fall for 5-7 yards all year. Hes open and making plays because of all the other receivers. Randy, on the other hand, is in double/triple coverage and putting up mind-blowing numbers. Wilfork doesn't get any attention but hes one of the best NT's in the league.

good to see that my taylor tribute idea worked, guess bout 500 other people had the same idea and spread it better 3.gif

We shouldn't have a problem with the Broncos, but they are our only major rival in the AFC west. I still think we can win the game, even if it is in Denver.

i feel your pain bro...before 2001, i never thought any of my teams would ever win a championship. Back then, all our teams sucked. Then Bledsoe took of running, got hit, and the rest is history 3.gif
