i hear there was a football game last night.

apparently the only person who noticed that was the guy who wrote SC this morning. He must be an NFL Network exec or somthing.

Yeah, I remembered there was a game at like 6:30 and I was already at the park to play hockey.  Would've been an easy pick too.  I hate those thursday night games.  Stick to sunday and monday...please!

Anyway, I'm making some gambles this week.  Here are my picks.

Cowboys over Panthers (eliminate from playoffs)

Chiefs over Lions (people are finally learning that the Lions have been overrated)

Jags over Raiders

Colts over Texans (Texans have been doing well, but this is Indy)

Browns over Bengals (first time in years that I'd make that pick)

Eagles over Saints (Eagles are out, but will look to ruin the hunt for the Aint's)

Bills over Giants (Huge gamble, but Bills are still inderrated and Giants are the worst team to make the playoffs)

Packers over Bears (Bears couldn't beat the Vikes even after 4 takeaways, and Favre won't give up the ball like a 2nd year QB)

Bucs over 49ers (neither team has anything to play for.  Tampa clinched, 49ers...suck)

Cardinals over Falcons

Patriots over Dolphins (Miami won a game!  OMG!  Too bad it was...one game...)

Seahawks over Ravens (Seattle isn't even that good and has clinched.  Maybe they'd lose if they played a team other than the one that just lost to MIAMI)

Titans over Jets

Vikings over Washington (Rightfully the biggest game of the week.  Both teams need the win to make it to the playoffs.  Plus both teams have a lot of emotion behind it.  This is HUGE)

Broncos over Chargers (Another huge gamble, but I have a feeling about this one)

Redskins are actually a game behind the Vikings. If the Vikings win, they're in. If the Redskins win, they're tied at 8-6. Yeesh.

The Saints are also holding onto a playoff chase, but almost certainly won't get it.

Lions over Chiefs- the losing streak for one team ends...

Jags over Raiders- Wheres Jamarcus?

Browns over Bengals- so lame. the Browns were supposed to be bad this year.

Saints over Eagles- Iggles get pwned by Brees

Giants over Bills- The Bills have played competative this year, but their stat line is unbelievable. They have a terrible defense, a terrible offense, and a 500 record. That is a testament of good coaching there. However, being elliminated from the playoff race, i think they will be burned out now.

Packers over Bears-hopefully the Packers lose, but if anyone saw the Bears viking game, you know that wont happen.

Bucs over 49ers

Cardinals over Falcons

Patriots over Dolphins- lol watch the dolphins win...

Seahawks over Ravens- two teams on the decline, they both need to retool in the off-season to remain competative.

Titans over Jets

Vikings over Washington

YA  Cowboys 20-13

So lucky on that 1st 4th down play, he didnt get anywere near the 1st down marker.

But we did dominate them Stat wise and  in Time of possession

Defence played well they only got 2 of 11 3rd down conversion and we sacked him 5 times.

( BTW that Tank Johnson sack in the 4th  was a  good hit, if that hit  on Barber was clean then

 then that sack  was too.  )

Hello redskins next sunday.  

Not heard anything about T.O.s injury will wait and see for the MRI tomorrow.

Im sure they are just  not takeing any chances

yea i was away/lazy

anyway, the pats game started off so great, we were locked in on the two big records (TD passes, receptions), and then bam!, we have the most boring/excruitiatingly painful half of the year. Although A couple of our "Lets see how far Tom Brady can throw" plays had uncalled pass interferences. I think Tom throws 3 saturday night, randy catches 1 and ties rice. Defense was excellent, vrabel first belicheck player with 10+ sacks, rodney and sanders were hitting wicked hard, and randy even played some FS. Troy brown had the worst punt return ive ever seen, but we shall forget that.

For the playoffs, Im hoping we get two warm weather/dome teams. San Diego then Indy sounds nice. Pittsburg scares the crap outta me.

What a rough week...went 10-6 with my picks, though there were some major upsets on Sunday.  Like the Bears putting a whoopin' on the 'roll over and play dead' Packers.  What were they thinking throwing the ball instead of running it in the 1st half?  Were they not aware of the windy conditions?

Then there was the Browns getting burned by the Bengals and then the 49ers pulling a rabbit out of the hat by squeaking by the Bucs.

Picking week 17's games should be rather interesting with a lot of throw-away games for seeded playoff teams.

Yeah, we smoked those Broncos. 23-3, not even a touchdown for them. Although, we could have scored more, it is better than losing. Now I have to go change my sig.
