Patriots run up the score and win by twenty in a meaningless game for both sides.

Honestly i dont listen to the announcers very much. The only time i really pay attention to them is when theyre fondling some team and siding with it instead of giving unbiased announcing. Thats always annoying. At the same time, man i hear a lot of people hate Gumbel so i wont be suprised if hes gone.

I dont know who to watch the game with....NFL Network is out, because i dont get it, and anyway, I hate there scoreboard.

CBS sounds good, but only if Simms and Nantz are doing it.

ABC's boston affiliate is Patriots biased, however they also have that sucky Local TV broadcast feel.

NBC is pretty good, however they better not bring out their Sunday Night crew (Madden/Faith Hill intro song=suicide)

your out of luck there.

It will be a simulcast of the NFL network feed to NBC and CBS So now you get to experience

the terribleness  that is Bryant Gumbel trying call a game. 28.gif

I wish you luck, you will be praying for Dennis Miller to take over.

At least he will now  be exposed to the  whole NFL viewing public and they will be forced to make changes.

2 hours.

Burgers. Check

Fries. Check

TV. Check

Mountain Dew. Check

Nachos. Check

Popcorn. Check

Moss Jersey. Check

Clicker. Check

TV. Check

We should rank this years most anticipated games....i cant tell wether pats v colts or this game was more exciting (waiting for it). This game clearly has more food, which, usually, means more importance, but i still cant decide.

I'd say, 2007 most anticipated games.

1. Patriots vs. Giants

2. Patriots vs. Colts

3. Patriots vs. Cowboys

4.Cowboys vs. Packers

Buffalo Wild Wings is where I'm watching it. Pats-Giants on one huge projection, UFC fights on another. Now I feel like a real man

This is one of those games which easily could have a Super Bowl-like audience. Love them or hate them, the Patriots are going after history tonight.

My parents get the NFL network.  The lack of graphics drives my mom crazy.

Her hearing is pretty much gone so she wants to be able to look at the screen at any moment and see that's 3 - 7, 2nd Quarter, 5:45 left, 2nd & 8 (or whatever the case may be).

Most networks show these stats fairly constantly.  The NFL network only shows them sporadicly.

It took  me a while to convince that  none of the buttons on her remote could change this.  She wants to "zoom out" so she can see them.  Fact is, they aren't usually there.

 Congratulations, Patriots.

Of course, it will be all for naught when the surprise entry Bengals beat them in the playoffs. 3.gif

Just checking here . . . am I the only one who wants to put an asterisk next to this because of the cheating thing?

No. 22.gif

Although, I have to agree with what one of the commentators (not Bryant Gumble 3.gif) was saying - now is actually the point where the pressure is on.  They made a perfect season, but to surpass the Dolphins as the best team of all time, they have to win the Super Bowl.

And for the record, since I know the allegations are strong from some that I hate the Patriots because they're good, I dislike the Patriots because they're smug.  Wilfork sticking his finger in that guy's helmet to poke him in the eye?  What the hell buddy?  A lot of Patriot fans I know want to know why everyone hates them.  It's all on the film.  They succeeded in two things tonight - perfection and smugness.  We know that they're good, but the so-called humble pie mantra (a farce in reality) doesn't leave room for the unbridled arrogance that they display.

On a more personal level, after tonight, the Patriots will never go down in my book as the best team ever - even if they do win the Super Bowl.  I wasn't alive to see the '72 Dolphins, but from talking to the people I know who followed football at from back then, the Dolphins didn't make a display of rubbing their excellence in.  If you want everyone to know that you're good, you have to have two things - unsurpassed excellence, something the Patriots have, and civility with a good helping of humility, something the Patriots sorely lack.  I've seen ten year olds that know how to act better than some of them do.
