Hey all.

I am not really new here per se, I used to have another account like 15 years ago or something. I was surprised to see the website still up and running. Cool! Does the same guy still own it? Anyway about me, I am an old school city simulator player starting way back in like 1989 with the original SimCity. Yep I am so old, what? it happens.

Indeed, the community is still going strong after all these years, and approaching the 20th anniversary of SC4 next year will be quite remarkable. It just goes to show that a creative hobby can captivate the interest of like-minded people from around the world, which is what sustains the site and makes it all worthwhile.

howdy, been playing sc since it came out for super nintendo but sc2000 might be the fave if i had to pick one. havent played sc4 in ages, just picked it up off steam for a few bucks and a few days later realized i kept coming back to this site (kept seeing STEX/spam/CAM/NAM what!?) so why not make an account? so far i got NAM going, pretty sure its done right.

Hello!
As my name sugest I am from Bolivia. I played a pirated version of SimCity 4 when I was in school some 12 years ago (back then it was difficult to find original games in Bolivia). Then last year around the time of my birthday I checked Steam and to my surprise SC4 was available and decided to gift myself the game. I am amazed by the active community around SC4 and feel excited to form part of it. I have already downloaded several mods but so far my favorites are the SPAM and NAM. These cover two aspects of the game that I particularly enjoy: rural landscapes and mass transit. I am currently working on the default San Francisco map to get acustomed to the gameplay. When I finish that I would like to move to another bigger map.

Hello, I'm fairly new to Simtropolis (apart from using it to get mods), but have made a few posts already. I've been playing SimCity 4 since I was a child and am now in my late teens, and I figured I might as well get involved in the community somewhat. I also play SimCity 3000 and 2013 in addition to other city-builders, as well as a range of other simulation/strategy games. Dunno what I'll do here yet. Maybe I'll start a city journal

Welcome to Simtropolis. If you have material ready you can immediately create your own city journal and show your creations. Also there are many people who use discord to show things behind the scenes (pre-release material for city journals etc) Follow the directions on Simtropolis to access ST's discord server. Don't hesitate to ask questions if you need help or clarification
