I there people! I'm from Portugal, Lisbon and i'm 19 years old and studying to be a mechanical engineer.

I've been playing SC4 for almost 2 years (not continuously of course) and also played sc3000. Just lately i've discover that there is a lot more you can do in sim city then just add some cool regions. Speaking of reagions, if you ever saw what i've done with the san francisco area, you would kill yourselves. I destroyed all the city boundaries just to have flat land to grow buildings. I need a tutorial on how to develop properly a region.

BTW: Though i've only registered yesterday, I think the forum is a little confuse. I got lost with all the plugins and tutorials. I don't know where to look at! ... plugins, regions, buildings, patches, "vanilla version" ... whoa!

Wow, this thread is one helluva long thread. hahaha. I don't know why, but I started reading all the posts on the first/second page..... lol.

Alright, introduction - from Northern California. I swear I'm really 18, but I look like I could be 14. haha. I like to laugh... a lot, but I'm not so much into politics. I'm headed off to college (UC San Diego) in a month or so. And like Giligone, I'm aiming for a Urban Studies/Planning major, too. haha Nice. I'm not sure what to expect with that study, but it seems like it'd be an interesting field to work in.

I'm not Japanese, as my username might indicate, but I have a fascination with things Japan, particularly anime. haha. My parents are from Malaysia, but they're Chinese, so I guess that would make me a first generation Malaysian-Chinese American. haa.

I recently bought SC4 Deluxe because my friend eventually convinced me to do so. Gameplay's been pretty swell, and I've been snooping around the ST forums for a few days now. I've also downloaded a few mods/maps, but haven't tried them all out. Looking good, though.

I see that I'm kinda long-winded. ahaha But I'll stop here. Time to snoop around the other threads! See you guys around? haha

Hello everyone, I am Nylaya24 on simtroplis but my real name is Fred. I write from the flatlands of Oklahoma City although I was born and raised in Dallas, TX (Do you see the conflict yet, TX/OK). Currently I am a senior at the University of Central Oklahoma studying Geography, specifically GIS. I have thus far only been able to play SimCity Unlimited 3000 because I don't have a computer capable of handling SC4 (Too old). However, I really enjoy seeing all the cities, bats, maps, and forums displayed on Simtropolis. This site has become a sort of recreation for me when I have a break between work and school. I hope to be able to contribute to the forums and STEX once I get a more powerful (newer) computer.

Hello everyone....I was dragged....(not really) into SC4 by my 11yr. old son who picked up a copy of the game recently. Now when we get a few minutes here and there we play together and discuss different strategies. I played the original SC way back in the begining (don't want to remember too far back).
