Pegasus have made a very good seaport series, CDK-3.  Try searching the STEX for those lots.

@ozdaniel: If your request hasn't been answered yet it is because no one of the regular viewers (including me) of this thread haven't any clue of where to find these BATs. Have you seen them on a City Journal or on a "Show us your..." thread? Try asking to the creator of this CJ or the person that posted the pics, he/she may answer where were downloaded this BATs.

@JGellock:

That school is the John Novac Memorial School  which is (was???) part of the "Schoolpack Vol. 4 by JBSimio".

Somehow it doesn't seem to be on the STEX anymore or it may have changed name.

I hope you'll find it somewhere.

Powersearch JBSimio on SimCity 4 Devotion. You will find the school pack there.

Hope that helps. granddetonator: I am sorry I couldn't meet your request 30.gif

The only mod which is a must is the Network Addon Mod (NAM), which will enhance your transit system with new kinds of networks and a better traffic simulations, among other improvements. Then, some people will recommend you the Street Addon Mod (SAM) to improve the look of your streets and the RealHighway Mod (RHW) to build more realistic highways rather than the default ones.

Apart from transit mods, the Industry Quadrupler is also highly recommended as quadriplies the number of jobs that factories provide, making them more realistic (and having less space dedicated to industry). If you don't like how your terrain and water look, you can find tons of mods for them, but you'll discover them with time.

And last but not least... Welcome to Simtropolis! You'll have fun here...

Coasterfanatic11: Welcome to Simtropolis! You will have a lot of fun here (and you get to meet cool people like TekindusT up above!)

I have, written down, a lot of great websites with great content (may or may not be mods, but maybe custom lots or BAT's, which is a type of custom building). I will share them with you (most are asian, so you may not be able to read them if you don't know japanese):

Hope that helps. Check out all of those sites, and if you want more help, just stop by here again! You are always welcome.

That's helps - a lot!

Good Idea to create the new thread with all internet sitest whit BAT/LOT downloading sites.

I write because I found interesting photos with underbridge scennery:

I'm pasting only links - photos are too big and to much of them.

Is it possible to download thoes projects? The number of undebridge/overhangings "things" is low and needed

Could someone please give me a link to SC4 Mapper?

Whenever I search it gives me very old threads of people asking the same question (and none of them are answered).

Thank you! I just found out from another site that if I want SC4 Terraformer or Mapper, I should come to this site and search for "wouanagaine" otherwise I won't find it.

My next question is:

I downloaded a New Horizons Productions New York City region, followed the directions that came with it:

1. If you don't already have SC4Terraformer v1.0c, download it here and follow the install instructions.

2. Unzip this file.

3. Run SC4Terraformer, choose Fairview

4. In the 'File' Menu, choose "create region"

5. Name the new region and Browse to the unzipped folder and point the map file .SC4M

6. Save: (CTRL-S) and Exit SC4Terraformer

7. Run SC4 and load the new region. The colors of the region in SC4 will be the same colors as SC4TF until you enter and save each city tile. But you have the choice to do it as you go and not right away.

Start opening tiles!

But when I opened it in SC4 the whole region was just a flat green square. What did I miss?

Later:

In another thread I found a link to this page https://www.simtropolis.com/omnibus/index.cfm/Main.SimCity_4.Custom_Content.Installing_a_Region_Downloaded_from_the_STEX

which should be listed in a FAQ somewhere.

I got an error with the size. "Region bitmap size is incorrect... 1024x1024. Should be 513x513."

Later:

I just found out that "Omnibus" is a wiki of tutorials. That's good to know.

Edited to combine multiple posts. Please use the "Edit" button to add to own posts.

The bitmap's size is relative to how many tiles the region has. That bitmap you used is WAY too large.

You can download the one in the image from the archives at SimCityForce (Link)  Click on page 6. It's toward the bottom.

If I remember correctly, the images you posted show some things created by BuddyBud in the Underbrdge Scenery (or something like that) thread. They were just pictures of things he was working on and were not released.

Question for yall.

First of all, I am looking for some shopping malls, but I don't want all of the american strip malls or individual department stores. Secondly, I need some elevated rail stations that are very long in length. Any help would earn you K50 Dude's semi-coveted awesome award!

Thanks for the help Tekindus (you have another awesome award from me now). Ardecila's and Xyloxadoria's are the longest I know of as well. The malls were the ones I wanted as well, so thank you. 44.gif

[EDIT] behold page 17!

[another edit] maybe not!

I apologize for that... I forgot there's not always a download link on that site, and sometimes you need to go to the creator's homepage. I did check out Kei's site (he was the maker of that building), but it was not available there. It is an older download, and perhaps he took it off because of some issue with it. If I see it somewhere else, I will post it.

I'm looking for a pool of water. I am thinking of something more like this

LincolnMemorial.jpg

Not a swimming pool, but a park that is just water.

Does that make sense??

Thanks!!!

well you've got various options. I would recommend making your own lake using a modular set such as https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=21661 or https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1737

Or you might be able to use something like this: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=2179

or there are various parks with lakes available on the STEX & LEX, just search for lake and you shouldn't have too many issues.

And if you are specifically recreating the lincoln memorial, the actual building is a landmark in game (in case you didn't know)
