hello im a just a lil new to this website gotta say wish i found it yrs ago but anyways i need help getting my nitelite to work on my downloaded buildings. i downloaded the darknite file along with the depend file with it but they still wont lite up. im not hugely worried about it because i play on an old laptop so it take a lil to load big cities lol but hey it works. if anyone could help me i wood greatly appreciate it. im sry if this has already been asked but im not going through 200+ pages just to find this.

For night lights to work in game, you'll need to install the fix for custom buildings (BATs). On its own, the won't add lights to the buildings. It will simply adjust their appearance. The first step is to make sure your game is updated. Go to your game's installation directory, usually:

"C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Apps\SimCity 4.exe"

Right click on "SimCity 4.exe", then click Properties > Details tab. In that table, there is a line that says 'File Version'.

Assuming you have SimCity 4 Rush Hour / Deluxe Edition, the required version is:

1.1.638.0. (if so, skip to step 2).

1. If your version does not match this, you will need to apply the official update available here: [Link] (follow download instructions on page, choosing the correct version depending on your game's region).

2. Once you have confirmed that version 1.1.638.0. is installed, the night light fix can be applied:

SC4Update4BAT.zip

After applying this update, the night lights on custom buildings should then work. Also, the game's version will be updated to: 1.1.640.0. After doing this, the Day and Nite Mod can then work for custom buildings (including DarkNite ones).

The NAM has the FLUPs (Flexible UnderPasses). If that's what you meant.

Use the FLUPs puzzle pieces to make roads like shown in the picture.

Well, I have to disappoint you there, but these scaffolds are custom lots and surely not available anywhere. You will have to create them yourself with the LE, or ask the player who made these.

It's good, I found it! It's part of a csx prop pack and I made something similar to this ^^ Thanks anyway.
