I'm aware of the NAM wide network options available, I just never seem to be able to make a round circle with those

So, am I confusing things, or does such an element exist and perhaps someone knows where?

To make a street roundabout, draw a 2x2 circle with streets. To make a small road roundabout, draw a 2x2 circle with roads. To make a larger road roundabout, draw a 3x3 circle with one-way roads. Avenue roundabouts have a special menu item with some other interchanges in it.

I know, I am however after larger roundabouts. Similar to the pieces available with NAM (90 degrees one), except those don't really make an actually round circle.

Could you look for an image of what you mean? There's a "Show us your Roundabouts & Interchanges" thread in City-Building Concepts, maybe you'll spot what you're looking for. The avenue roundabout pieces are the largest ones I can imagine right now.
