Perhaps out of all the areas of Simcity 4, making agriculture look pretty and/or awesome is really really hard to do. I feel agriculture is perhaps the most over-looked aspect of the modded SC4, but it's vital to use when filling up a region. So this thread is for posting your best agriculture pictures, and when done right agriculture is one of the best-looking aspects of SC4.

Now let's get this started!

Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

With regards, Miles Saunders-Priem aka. Ln X aka. The British Sausage

Nice! I wouldn't have thought it were possible to build such great scenes with vanilla. I couldn't, at least but that might have something to do with the fact that the last time I played without any plugins was probably in 2008...

Where do the plowable cows come from? I guess they are ploppable and not generated by farmland lots?

It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning to long to believe that the tides going to turn.

Success simply consists of getting up one more time than you fall.

Cornfields in a rural area of Bottlecap. Patches of extant PNW MMP Coastal Rainforest woodland are found behind the farms... and some weeds that may or may not be 'out of control'!

I couldn't get the Brown Sand MMP to overlap the end of the SAM2 road, so I'm still looking for a more seamless transition. There are a few jaggies too with this sand plop.

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

SteveMSim, you have some very colourful farms. Overall good work.

@CorinaMarie That's Great! for Vanilla  :thumb:     Wait till you can recreate the things that you are trying to do with the limitations of vanilla SC4 in these images with some of the great mods out there, NAM comes with some changes to street and road curves, so that great looking attempt at a curving and diagonal street through the farmland can look closer to what you imagined.

"something" like this
