Trains released and I'm really looking forward to doing some non-container things again.

This container effort of yours is really admirable! The level of perseverance you've shown is mind-blowing to me. I have a hard time making a pack of decals without turning my attention elsewhere! Not only are you to be commended for the effort but also for the high quality of your work!

Man, I've been too busy lately! I'm getting married in August, so we've been busy planning stuff, which doesn't get less messy when one side of the family is from another country.

Congratulations! May I ask from which country?

Congratulations! I'm 13 years in this June myself :) I also hope you are still around after the honeymoon. I'm glad my wife is cool about me spending so much time in my art world but I do have to remember her time to time. That's when you don't see me for a little while :D

Thanks again guys! :D I'll definately be back, though I prob won't be active much in August. My fiancé is a gamer and actually nudged me into 3D modelling, so we've got our pcs set up next to each other and count it as quality time. :P

First up the guide to prop variations - let me know if something is missing from it.

I just made 2 scripts - one is for setting the amount of color variations, and the other is for automatically setting equal probability for all variations.

I tested 23 and worked fine, I don't know what the limit is.

I like those street ads. I subbed but haven't had a chance to load up a save and put any down. But I will. I just have to figure out where.

Are these common in US cities? I can't think of anywhere I've seen them where I live.

I don't know where you live, but these are really common around the world. You probably don't notice them anymore ;) . Just do a google image search for JCDecaux (one of the main street ad companies I believe) and you'll probably see what I mean.

Nice work as always, @Avanya! And congratulations with your upcoming wedding of course!!

    Thank you all again! :D

@Matthias King I think they're very common on any pedestrian street or even wide sidewalks - anywhere there's space and lots of pedestrians walking past (open platforms of train stations too). I really should make a bus shed version too, since that's prob even more common. :P

Today I released the template for the street ad in a guide which makes it easy to find other templates by me and others - right here.

And I published a logo prop for Aukio too with more to come in the future. I really gotta grab some screenshots with King Leno's new commercial buildings since they look way better than the default commercial buildings. :P

I've been busy today (or I just finished up stuff - you'll never know ;)). First up the guide to prop variations - let me know if something is missing from it. I've made so many now I can do it half asleep, so I might have missed something not so obvious. :P

And then street ads! I had so much fun with these, I'll likely do more at some later point. But for now there's 10 variations (20 ads) and I'll release the template for them soon.

Lol! Chirpy Krisps! I love them! Great work! Now on to the guide on prop variation… :)

Some really smart useful additions again, thank you kindly @Avanya
Seems each time I'm thinking, "you know what is missing from the workshop ..."  it's never too long before something of the sort appears in my followed authors list :)

Thanks for sharing the street sign template; happy to start with your set (Chirpy Krisps , the best ) but keen to try some myself too. Thought about doing ads for your CIM company to stick in my city; tie in with the loads of CIM assets I have dotted about.  Assuming of course you are not about to release a load of street ads with your companies on the workshop! Where would be the best place to get a good version of your logo?

I'm most late but congratulations all the same on your engagement. I was most shocked to hear that some guy was planning to steal one of the top creators from the C:S modding community... but then I heard he is a fellow Scot and thought "hey it's fine, that's cool :8) "   *:D

No plans for more street ads atm, so knock yourself out. The CIM logo can be found here - colors have already been adjusted for the game.

Hehe, thank you and no worries, I'm not going anywhere - at least not permanently - love this too much! :D

Looking good. These little store signs go a long way to bring some diversity to shopping centers.

I guess a similar approach with templates and prop snapping could be done to get name signs on railway or metro stations?

@Turjan Yeah, that could prob work. I'd guess a few different sizes would be needed for the best result. Perhaps combined with a mod that adds the text.

2 more signs released - Karoliina and Big Bite - and I made a collection so I only have to drop one link. :P

I finished the last sign for now: Go Nuts Doughnuts which is complete with 3D doughnuts (they were fun to make :P)

Today's uploads were a few quick ones - two of my oil tanks without logos - because most places only have one or two with a logo while the rest are boring. :P Find them right here!
