No view count on my CJ

Hi, for a while now my CJ doesnt count the views anymore. Are there some settings i need to change?? thanks all!!

You're not the only one affected by this. For some reason, all CJs updated on the first page of the CJ section have 0 views on the update. 

 

On the other hand, it looks like the CJs by Schulmanator (Schulmania and Harar, but not Evean Vansop) are piling up all CJ views...

 

EDIT: It looks like this bug begins on the now page 2, starting from SimRico's CJ.

Sounds like the view profile count dilemma where heaps of user profiles view counts stagnated and Benedict's piled on to count a million+ views

Actually, my post count in the new area has been stuck for days. So, I am not immune. I posted this several days ago when it first became apparent:

Oddly enough, in the new CJ section, the replies count advances but the view count is frozen.

 

It is all of the new CJ forum ones, my own included. I've been at 379003 views for over a week now in Schulmania. And when I put up a new update for Harar nothing changed in views, just as when I did for Evean Vansop. The reply count and number of entries still works but the view count is frozen.

I think my CJ in the City Journal section is stuck at 17,108. This has been the same figure for a week now.

I actually noticed that, as my current update still has 0 views but there are already a lot of comments.

 

And yes, it looks similar to the profile view thing

Everything is alright with the view count on my CJ. With each new comment the view count is updated.

It's the new CJ section, not the old one. The old one is still chugging along nicely.

My new update is the same stuck at zero but register's 2 five star votes, 7 thumbs up, and 4 comments ( thanks by the way ) but the problem seems to be wide spread

Mine got views, but then got stuck at a number, and it wont change, even after someone commented on it, the views were still the same.

The BTT formula only uses updates and comments, not views or thumbs. So it should be business as usual.

These gremlins may turn out to be fi-fi-la-las (female gremlins) and the program may have become organic.  With an organic program, fixing a problem over here makes something else fail over there.

This appears to be some kind of organic effect.  Perhaps the whole web program needs to be re-examined.

I have been posting only to the old CJ section until we get some clarity about what's going on. It is not much fun to see no views but getting comments.

We're looking into it. At the moment I can't say whether or not view count will be updated once the issue is sorted, so if that's an problem for you then I'd recomend not updating your city journal until the issue is solved.

Yep, it's working now... and it's true that the counts didn't retroactively update. I have 7 views and 8 comments. First big update in a year and 7 views are the fruits of my labors... :-( Oh well, hopefully the next update will bring 'em in.
