Take it here, and depending on your internet you might have to wait 30 seconds for it to appear.

I got 44/50, at least I'm not a dumb default citizen.

46/50 - I'm surprised I did that good. The four I missed were 3, 6, 16, and 36.

43/50 - Not bad for a Canadian citizen who has never really lived in the U.S.

I just took it and got a 49/50. (Missed the one about Susan B Anthony).

But I also really wonder how many Americans today would not pass that. 30%? More?

I got 37/50 and I'm a Brit!

Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

With regards, Miles Saunders-Priem aka. Ln X aka. The British Sausage

I still dont think those were real test questions.

I think they are.  The US Citizenship and Immigration Services website has a practice test and it is asking the exact same questions with the exact same answer choices.

I think one of the differences here is that we were both born in the US and speak English as our primary language.  For an immigrant, that is likely not going to be the case, which will make the test more difficult to pass.  Plus it's an oral test apparently, so that means you have to actually know the answer, not successfully guess it from a list of possible choices.

48/50.  I remembered a lot from school!

Did you get the wife to take it?

49/50. For the one I missed the answer I gave was true, but it was supposed to be "all of the above" and I only picked one.

If this weren't a multiple choice test I definitely would have still scored in the upper 40s.

I doubt I could get a passing score on a similar test for any other country on the fly without studying, but it might be fun to try Canada's.

It is an interesting test.  You wouldn't want to try the Canadian Citizenship Exam without a couple of months prep.

43/50.

Some of the correct answers are basic common sense for anyone with a passing interest in politics and apply to most countries. A few are a little more complicated by it's not overly onerous.

She scored a 37 (in a row?).  That's not bad for someone taking it in their second language who has little to no interest in politics.

The rest of the questions are answered correctly because of globalisation. We have seen a thousand times talk about the US Consitution and the Amendments on the Simpsons or other TV shows, we have seen thousand movies where the President (hopefully Morgan Freeman) meets with the Secretary of Whatever... I have really serious doubts I would score 41/50 in any other country's citizenship test.

Guaranteed fail almost any place else.  The Americans have been trumpeting their history and state papers world wide for years.  You'd think they had something extra special.

Simple question: Who was the first Prime Minister of Canada (no looking it up, now)?

Multiple Choice:

Pierre Elliot Trudeau

Sir Wilfred Laurier

Le Sieur de Champlain

Sir John A. MacDonald

William Lyon Mackenzie King.
