Thanks for releasing another amazing building. Looking forward to seeing it grow in my cities.

Also great work on the hotel, you're making some good progress.

Not sure about the second Building but the Museum looks sweet.I don`t know why but it almost looks like a Museum or City Hall that could stand right in the middle of a historic City somewhere in Germany.

Any Infos of where it got its Design Influences?

That's Portuguese baroque architecture  it also has small hints of Rococo architecture as well

Hah! Classical architecture. :) I like it a lot. :) Yes, depending on the texture, that museum could be from almost any European city. That makes it very useable. Thanks.

However, you may want to make window frames slightly bigger. A real life dimensions do not always look good in SC4. May be to have less window panels than in real buildings?

Ooooh... Creepy.

Looks awesome so far, though. Not sure if it's the building for me. It's not your fault, but architecturally, it looks awful. Despite that, I could happily sit here for hours just to admire your detail work. Simply stunning. :boggle:

... In your opinion! I find that kind of architecture very beautiful and interesting. ;)

Great to see someone picked-up this building. I have to say I was a bit sad when Todd when away for RL and never released this beauty.

Hotwheeler: as Bastet said, it's a barroque architecture. The influence I know it had was from the portugueses, because it was build by them in the colonial period around 1780 to be the City Council of Ouro Preto. ;)

SimCoug: yay! Great news! Thank you about that :)

Bombardiere: Thank you. I'll check that after texturize it, maybe everything be white so far is messing with it :P (Editing: I realized I was taking the .jpg files from Flickr, now I changed it to .png and looks a bit better :) )

Toothless Stitch:

__B: thank you, you will know now :P

Sexysark:P: thank you :)

Art128 guessed the building in his first attempt on SC4Devotion , so I'll reveal it here too. I improved that old version and now it looks like this:

https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5694/21006439589_c9b7e5a681_o.pnghttps://farm1.staticflickr.com/704/21006439639_9249e8aaef_o.pnghttps://farm1.staticflickr.com/729/21006439489_ceb563e241_o.pnghttps://farm6.staticflickr.com/5695/21006439539_f715095791_o.png
The building is Pripyat Pool. I don't know the official name of the building, I've to search about it. I want to make it because I liked very much all those big glass facades showing the pool and a basketball court, stairs etc. I want to make a regular version and after that think about an abondoned one as well.

I NEED IT, NOW!!! I'm totally in love with modernist architecture, and Pripyat is an excelent example of it delivered in a great composition. Please do a high wealth-style regular version, considering that, before the accident, Pripyat was the richer average city in the URSS.

Ooooh... Creepy.

As already said, maybe is not the building for you, but is definitely the building for me :D

__B: thank you :), we all have our own architectural preferences, but I hope change your mind in the end of this BAT :P

    art128: I hope to release it :P

matias93: I'll do it as high wealth indeed ;)

    Belfastsocrates: thank you :)

Toothless Stitch: thanks, but I like white previews :P

    No updates now D:
Just came here to ask for help. I need to do the signs above the building, but I don't even know if that's written in Ukrainian or Russian. I tried to look for their languages characters and copy it but some of them I didn't find in alphabets, like that 'A without the middle line'.
I'll let some images here, so please, if you understand what's written there, can you help me? s2

Yea, that's what I found, but look, the first letter there is not in the image (looks like 'n') and the 'A' I said looking like /\ is not as well.

Indeed, probably a variation. I just found very similar words with just a few different letters and it makes sense: Плавательный Бассейн Лазурный means Azure (blue) Swimming Pool :P . Probably this will be the name of the building.

I was just trying to found it for hours and when I decide to post here the solution comes immediately
    Well, thank you.

    Thank you all, guys :)
SimCoug, I have no idea how to make a diagonal building, but I'll try to learn it.

Last couple days I was working hard in Magnolia Building. Classes will be back soon, then I'm just getting ahead in all the projects.

Aaron Graham: I'm finally glad with some textures on the model after try a lot of them, I hope to show how it's looking soon, thanks for liking it :)

Girafe: thanks, I'll let you know :)

I was tired of modeling and decided to texture something, since there's not so many things left to model in Museu da Inconfidência I started to test some textures on it. Textures shown here are not final of course, but I did like that one, which is actually a stone wall, it looks good in small areas, but in the biggest, like the base, it looks very repetitive and I don't know if will be possible to do something realistic there without repetiton :(. The roof and other textures will be changed soon.
Btw, thanks to Jason for helping me to make better configurations to the BAT's quality :D

HD preview to see it full size:

In RL, a new (or clean) roof is as saturated as the one in the image, unless some clay is in the mix, in which case, it would be whiter too.
