Nice, great idea for a topic. I'll definitely be by later to drop some of mine. I've been following most of your CJ, but seeing them here all at once really brings back the memories. Amazing work, I very heartily agree with your view this is as much art now as it is civil engineering as well. Great job and thanks for sharing :thumb:

You and users like yourself definitely turn SC4 into an art form, I particularily liked your zombie outbreak one too.

Light!! If those are worthless, then I'm a monkey's uncle! You've always done amazing work! Your pics always have this bright fresh air to them. Your contributions have a feel to them. Like I could see myself walking through it almost...

These are SO beautiful! I want to build with those Mass Effect ones. XD (They would be awesome for high tier in SimMars.)

Also, Terring, what is that dome? That I did not saw last time I played, I NEED IT.

Some amazing pictures here already. Here are a few imagea from a previous CJ i had, The People's Republic of Nanzhao, my interpretation of rural China.

    mosaicmiddle.jpg

This one was part of a larger mosaic but in the three or so years since it was uploaded the rest is no longer available unfortunately but it did show a transition from the rural to a suburban area with some factories and apartment buildings typical of China. I have come a long way since

Sorry about the pause bar, it was taken in April 2011 and i never intended for it to be part of my CJ but was for a critique thread on another forum

Amazing pics!  I especially like the Mass Effect one.. Are those actual roads in the 1st screenshot with cars on it or just a render?

Kirov airships flying over cities. A mix of Simcity and Command and Conquer, Simcity 4 and Red Alert 2. What next? Tiberian Sun in Simcity 4? Tiberian crystals and lifeforms? Nod cyborgs and G.D.I. walkers? I really want to see that!

I'm still in awe of the research platform, beautiful :O

Same with evillions, those are one of the best wartime scenes I've seen in SC4 :D

Fox, I've seen those homes before.... Aren't they called Geo-somethings?

Yeah .. Geo Domes... Made by Bipin but never released unfortunately .. They made my research station look the part.

They remind me of "Sphere" by Michael Crichton (and, yeah, the book had them in cylinders, but when you're reading he doesn't provide pictures, so...). I really like that picture; it captures the environment nicely.

Considering Bipin is still active, why haven't they been released?

These are all excellent pictures. I'm extremely honoured to see many of my BATs in so many pictures. I cannot think of a better compliment than to see that. :)

...Because of my attention span, or rather (evident) lack thereof. These buildings were too retro for me and do not exude the style of futurism which I envision. However, I have revisited them recently. They'll be released in the form of inflatable plastic domes with a similar geodesic look. However, they will be largely hexagonal, which helps bring the style up to date.
