hey...im not really sure how to use this thing but here it goes anyways. i just downloaded the wtc mod, and i have no clue how to get it into the game. its in my plugin folder and everything but its not working. please help

I'm looking for something similar to what BusRocker was looking for. You see, a while ago I was building in a city that had very high demands in all R categories (I have Buggi's Superdemand) but when I went to start a new city in the same region, my demand was below 6,000 for all R categories for no reason even with the superdemand in place. Trust me, I tried everything, I went to some of my larger cities and demolished some highrises to raise demand, and nothing happened. I think there is something seriously wrong with my demand, something abnormal. So if someone could make some mod to fix this, I would be eternally greatful 4.gif

Looking for a mod that makes it so street lights dont need a power plant to work, and you dont have to zone anything on highways for them to work on their also

I notice Ebina had the HSR over GLR puzzle piece locked  and was pretty irate about it. Also said there was interaction problems with dragged HSR. But that was a good while ago. So can some one else (perhaps the team or person that created the HSR and somehow forgot to make that piece) please make that puzzle piece.

Nothing is worse than discovering a new transportation system, ripping your city apart to install it, then finding out when you're half way through that the system is useless because of one missing piece. Like a traffic lights without light bulb fixtures.22.gif

Could someone make a modd that turns the default passenger train into the GE Genesis locomotive and Shoreliner Cars from Metro-North Railroad?  It is a commuter railroad that runs in the counties north of New York City and into Conneticut.  Here are some pictures:

- in one picture you see the word "Metropolitan," Which is part of "Metropolitan Transportation Authority"  This phrase was dropped on the newer paint scheme, which also features a darker stripe.  The car with the red stripe is part of the New Haven Line, which is jointly operated with the Conneticut Department of Transportation.  The engines on The New Haven Line have a different paint scheme, and traditionally the red and blue cars are not mixed, with the red staying on the New Haven Line and the blue cars staying with the engines I picured above.

I would like to see a modd that changes all of the reward building descriptions in the reward menu to their actual stats. It seems like it would be pretty easy to do, and it would really be a useful reference tool. If this already exists, please provide link.

Sorry if someone has already suggested this or I'm looking in the wrong place!

i was thinking someone could change the metor disaster in to a nuke, like change the metor itself into a missle and when it hits the ground it would explode like a nuke, just wondering if that'd work or not

this request is mainly for my cj, but others might like it as well...i would like to have the animals changed from rhinos and what not to only polar bear, grizzly bear, black bear, moose and elk...

this is probably supposed to be in the bat thread, but along with this a bear statue that doesn't replace mayor statues.

i would love ya forever if someone could make this

Since this is the "wishlist": I would like a mod that would allow a user to switch of the animals altogether.

And then it would be neat if someone would make some street add-ons, like streett over avenue bridge, or over rail and such

Are there any mods out there to conceal the visual effects of abandonment?

I need to build a large CO$$$ building that's very important to my CJ, but my city can't support it. I wouldn't mind it going vacant, but I don't want it to turn black.

I was wondering, is there a mod that reduces the cost of parks?

I mean, I just think the cost of parks is ridiculous especially when you add them up. I know you can lower their funding but then they get ugly and I think they hurt your environment (I'll test that).

Anyways, I'd love to hear if anyone has made a modification or COULD make a modification.

I visited a Culver's for the first time today, and liked it very much. It's a 380-store chain primarily in the Midwest, known for burgers, fried chicken, and frozen custard. One of my first thoughts was a BAT. The building looks fairly fast-food, and could probably be modified from an existing lot. Could this be BATed? Just a thought.

I would like to see a mod that can make RCI building capacity exceed 65535 or a prop capacity mod. I like to create HUGE towers, like 3+ miles high, so this would be nice to see. Thanks.

Just wondering, is it possible to change the zoning in the game? Like adding zones that only ultra-high density commercial would grow on or zoning land for only a single type of building family, like the LBT colonial pack.

I have two "requests" ... but rather, they are brainstorms that I think everyone would benefit from... i'm surprised I can't find anything like these, and i would do it myself, but can't modd my way out of a paper bag.

anyway... first: if there were a modd to make demolition instant rather than having that hovering cloud of dust...

second... the MML lots are so great, it seems to me a similar concept could be applied to construction lots for growable sets rather than menu sets... for example, have a timber frame set construction lot, or a brutal midrise construction lot... that suppress the set of growables unless the lot is plopped. this would be great for making planned neighborhoods and plats.

if such things exist, please point me to them, but i looked and did not find.

This would be more of a NAM request but... I would like some elevated rail in avenue puzzle peices like the glr in avenues. I'm just tired of every time I would that I have to make a connection to my elevated network using a glr-el rail then a glr curve peice. It would be neat to just bring the elevated rail in the avenue then turn it into glr in avenue.

I'm building a city of the future. I've already found some hi-tech lots from Japanese websites, but I'd like to find some vehicles with no wheels and raised from ground (as in a sci-fi film). Can someone tell me how to change Maxis vehicles textures or if there are some mods for this?

I think that there should be a mod that lowers the need for dirty industry and raises it for manufacturing, because it's hard to create a realistic industrial area if all that wants to pop up are the cheap Maxis dirty industry buildings. And would improving education help this, or would I need a mod?

I have two requests:

1.) Could someone figure out how to change the contour interval that comes up in game after pressing CTRL+Shift+C from 132m to something like maybe 32m/100ft? Admitedly I know next to nothing about code, but this couldn't be very hard to do. Somewhere in the game code that 132m interval is set, all one would have to do is find it, change it, and viola! In fact, you wouldn't even need a mod, necessarily, just instructions for folks like me to find the setting and change it to what we want it to be.

2.) Could someone figure out how to make contour lines appear on the 2D Mapper application (and it's twin in the Terraformer)? Again, this shouldn't be difficult as the Mapper already uses different colors for different elevations both above and below sea level, but having an actual LINE between the color changes would be extremely helpful for those of us like me who want to make 2D maps (think road maps here, not game maps) of our cities and regions.

If I can help in any way, I have the time and inclination.

Request!

I had been looking threw some of the mods and got an idea: Would it be possible to make a mod that Elevates Graffiti Crime rate throughout the city and as a result Graffiti Textures would overlay upon lots where the crime is being committed? I was just curious because i enjoy graffiti as an art form and an eyesore, a fact of reality!

Not sure if this is possible seeing as how most of the lots would need to have originally been textured with graffiti but it seemed like a viable idea at the time!
