I'm looking for something similar to what BusRocker was looking for. You see, a while ago I was building in a city that had very high demands in all R categories (I have Buggi's Superdemand) but when I went to start a new city in the same region, my demand was below 6,000 for all R categories for no reason even with the superdemand in place. Trust me, I tried everything, I went to some of my larger cities and demolished some highrises to raise demand, and nothing happened. I think there is something seriously wrong with my demand, something abnormal. So if someone could make some mod to fix this, I would be eternally greatful

Sorta reminds me of Los Santos in GTA San Andreas, neat!

Well, I downloaded it because of my Demand issue that I posted about and it "cured" it. So, thank you very much. The only thing I didn't like was that my whole city had really bad desireability for anything commercial. I'm guessing I need to take out the desireability in the "extra-tools" folder so I'll try that.

When you go to download the Allamindinger-spelling? Organ Co. building, I can't remember who made it, there is a building in the background with an ant or something on it. Anyone know what that is? It's been a while since I saw it.

Help with Residential Demand!
Seabrook500k replied to Seabrook500k's topic in SC4 Modding - Open Discussion
Thanks, I've already checked all these things and they don't seem to be the problem. The demand for anything commercial is through the roof, due to using the superdemand ordinance by Buggi. Land wealth is fine and everything is powered and watered. I have pretty much thought of everything and I can't find any reasonable explanation. This is how it started: I was playing in a city a few tiles away, (the R demand was decent) then I saved and left to go to an older city to obliterate it and start over. This city has neighbors, so demand would be the same, but as soon as I started over, the demand was at the absolute lowest it could go -6,000. This is even after using Superdemand, which now doesn't seem to do anything. -
Can anyone help? My residential demand is all below -6,000 but was fine in the last city I visited in the region. The cities are all connected, so the demand is the same throughout the region, and I am using the super demand ordinance. This probblem only occurs in one city that was rebuilt after that previous tile was obliterated in God Mode. Is there any reason why this is happening and is there a different modd I can get to sharply increase residential demand?

Great thanks! I already have rush hour because mine is SC4 deluxe. I was just unsure whether an upgrade of that size would require me to start over, but since it doesn't I guess all my custom content will finally have light!

I was also curious as to get nightlighting in custom content. I read it's description at SC4D and it said to update SC4. Does this affect your current SC4 program, for example, by updating will all your cities and saved work be gone as a result?

You don't have any cities in that region named High Crest, Bridgeport, or Fulton do you? lol

Wow, nice city! I think it's a really cool coincidence that you have a city called PORTLAND, RIVERA and I had named a city Portland over a year ago in a region I named RIVIERA!

When I put BATs and lots into my plugins folder, the building or lot will be displayed as a folder icon with a zipper (zipped file) Then, once I unzip the file, I get the same folder icon without the icon directly below it meaning it is unzipped. My question is: once I have unzipped a file, can I delete the zipped version without disrupting the custom content in play? the reason I ask is because I need to make room in my plugins folder. Thanks in advance

I don't have the pics, but I'm looking for a few industrial buildings I saw. In the Worchester CJ there were some factories that had signs like "SCHWARTZ CHEMICAL CO." and "BALTIC FLOUR MILL" and a handful of others that didn't have names. This wasn't the only place I saw them though, they are on tons of CJs, but not on the STEX as far as I know. Does anyone know where to find these factories? I really need them for my industrial city.

I think we really need some more factories on the STEX. If someone could BAT some factories and mills especially the type found in the notheast that would be great

Nice, looks very New England, northern new england anyway, south is more urban. This is really cool because I live in Sterling, Massachusetts! Can't wait to see more.

A city with population of at least 1000000
Seabrook500k replied to Alba_'s topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
I'm trying to get a few cities over 1 million. I have a city called "Riviera City" which has a future goal of 2.2 million and "Bridgeport" which I will try to make with 1.2 million. They are both currently between 2 and 3 hundred thousand.
