OMG!!! Yes, that is exactly what I was thinking!!! toned down the parts that needed to be and left the rest perfectly :D :D :D

This is up to you, but I would disagree with Evan (no offence), just my point of view that I would leave it as is.......

None taken.  I'm just not used to seeing such dark terraces.  Then again if it was lit up I may think it looks worse who knows.  Hard to tell when all you have is your imagination.  But like I said it looks great and ready to go as it is

Thanks guys. Here's one with a couple of spots around the terraces. Its just subtle, I don't mind it either way, but I guess its done now so will probably stay like this unless any strong objections. The only other thing I need to try and fix is the blurriness in the rounded windows on the tower, the night map doesn't appear to have placed properly and its stretching.

Looks great, the lights on the terrace may be subtle but they make a big difference when you compare the two pics side by side.

Freshwater Place is looking good! I'm liking the nightlights so far!

Shot me for mentioning it, but I think the podium would be a nice standalone BAT, too. :P

Oh wow I didn't think you'd actually add some landscape lighting but it looks great!  Now it doesn't look so pitch black  :)

Just wanted to say I love the art deco releases! I know you are busy, but I hope you haven't lost interest in the old w2w project. No biggie if its on the back burner, I'd just hate to see it not come to fruition.

We always need more good Midrises and the base would fit into Maxis' Euro tileset really well.

But seriously, the hideous podium could totally double as a hideous inner-city shopping centre, yes. :D

Add me to those who think the podium would be a good standalone.  We need more a) midrises, and b) ugly/nondescript buildings, since obviously our most talented BATers go after the large scale and architecturally significant buildings.  But every metropolitan city needs its fair share of ugly architecture!  :kitty:

Thanks.. good to know, but I don't think decapitating podiums is the best way to fix this problem :P

SimCoug - I'm in the process of transitioning to a new laptop, just need to finish off my WiPs that have materials on them, which I'm pretty sure is just the Grand Hyatt now (oh, and the Maxis Night for Q1), then I can go back to the W2Ws. They can be a bit taxing too, so it may be a slow process to get enough of them together... but they aren't forgotten!

Nice job on the Freshwater Place.

Can you make growables of the ones you haven't yet?

Oh my gosh how do you keep churning these out!!  I wasn't expecting Freshwater Place nearly as quick as you did!  Just as a Q, the tower on the other side of Freshwater Place, are you planning on BATing it and if so, what will the dimensions be?  Just trying to make sure I zone/grid accordingly for the future when I grow Freshwater.

Continue to be obsessed with your work.

Hi! Love those new buildings, especially Freshwater place! :thumb:  I have a request, and I think that this (given that you don't seem to have anything going on right now) would be the time to make it. You seem like the kind of guy who's really into modern australian hi-rises, so I thought that maybe you could give it a go and try to make Bourke place in Melbourne, only a few blocks north of the Rialto Towers. I think it could be alittle bit of a challenge, but you would make it work.

Thanks in advance, happy BATting, and merry christmas!  :golly:

    Nice!

I just find some of the lights strange.

    I assume 1 are reflections.

I don't see the point of light 2 considering there are no door leading to that part of the roof.

The Hyatt signs at the top of the hotel seem a bit too dark. Is it suppose to be that way?
