Hopefully not too far away InCommandOfCars :)

SkycraperTowerBuilding, yeah I think you might be right, although I don't mind it too much on the HWT version. I didn't want the window lights to be too bright, and while the white lights are very bright compared with the other lights in the building, I don't think they don't look too bright when compared with the lights from the other buildings in the game. However, I did think they looked a bit bright on the EY PLaza Version (below) so have toned them down for this version.

Darn, yeah I get that, but I incorrectly assumed Max dealt with ambient reflections another way, and reflective materials were only for actual shiny stuff. Thanks for the tip on glossiness samples, I usually keep them at the default level, 8 I think?... is that too high?

Here's an update on EY Plaza:

    8 should be fine.

Btw, the glass reflections on e and y are magical.

The entrance on the west side of the building is missing the door itself.

Also, remember to scale everything at the end so that it fits the lot snuggly, considering the standard set back from the streets, the alley width, and wall to wall sides.  :(

    Edit:  Here's an image:

    3Lf384w.jpg

    Cyan:  The missing door

Pink:  Scale the building so that it fills the lot like it does in real life according to the conventions used in SC4.  Since the tower is somewhat independent from the base you may not have to scale it with the base.

Yellow:  The entrance that's overlapping with stuff.

Red:  It looks like something happened to this geometry.  It's most noticeable on the ones I circled.

I'm sorry to keep on finding things!  It's very close!!  :P

Green:  This just looks weird, lol  It should probably be more orthogonal.

Thanks Darn, yeah this is the best glass I've done for sure. Hope I can keep it up for the next one :)

Jason, the missing door does look odd. It was intentional, I had intended for it to be an open foyer entrance, much like it is today, except that I replaced the overhang with an ornate stone doorway. But it doesn't look right, I either need to add a floor or put a door in.

The ingame shot was only to test the colour pallete ingame etc... not sure why the sad face? Don't forget though, it won't sit perfectly snuggly on the lot, the building proportions don't fit with the game grid, to make it fit snuggly will either require one side to be stretched or one side to be squeezed, I don't really want to do that. I was surprised to see there was no room at the rear for the alley though, I thought I'd scaled it to accomodate. I will recheck it all before I export it properly :)

    Edit: Our posts overlapped:

Yellow, again that was intentional. Its on the bricked-up side of the buidling, its means to be a bricked up door lol.. but I don't really like it, I think I'll just remove it.

Red.. strange, its only appeared on the EY version, thanks for pointing out I wasn't looking for it.

Green.. yes.. that hose thing has always bugged me... I'll do something with it :)

Edit 2: Its 2am here LOL but needed to test this out... This is the building roughly scaled to match the lot. In my head it was going to be horribly stretched but actually I think its barely noticable. I'm off to bed, let me know what you think :)

Yeah, your both are absolutly good and awesome. Your windows for the tower are gorgeous. Your night version, need some reflections in the glass in my opinion. :P

Great like always, can't wait it ;)

    SimCoug, Jmdude1, SkyscraperTowerBuilding, (thats a mouthful :P )... thanks!

Andrey, correct, there will be two versions, with and without the tower

Darknono, thanks as always. I actually didn't mind how the reflections in the night glass came out, its a bit more subtle than I usually do. I'll review in a couple of days.

Here's the Diagonal models in game. Seeing as there's been no more suggestions I'm going to take that to mean this one is ready for upload. Won't be tonight now, its got too late, but either tomorrow night or the next :)

Have a nice weekend and thank you so much for sharing. :golly:

Will you bring the Harbour Bridge into game? We can hardly find any fake bridge, BATs of this kind are really in need.

It's a real beauty - great to see this one coming along!

The texturing on the main dome is a little off: copper weathering is usually quite uniform (and that is the case with Flinders St with the patina blending through green at the bottom 1/3 of the dome)

But all, in all - amazing! :thumb:

It looks epic and I really like it. Two textures I'd address tho: One is the main cupola, the color variations seem to be well out of place. I'd goo with patina green all the way. This makes it lok not like rust and weathering but rather paint. And second would be circular addition's roof. It looks too yellow and some darkening, dirtying would do it good, imho. Other than that, extraordinary work
