This winter is a sidewinder.

 

In beautiful Hensall this morning it is -3 (-10) snowing with wind North at 35 Kph (gusts to 61).  A blizzard.  I am glad I don't have to go out today.  Expected snowfall 1 to 3 cm, blowing snow tonight and bad driving on the open rural highways.  Fooey!  I'll have to breakout my parka again.

22 C (Humidex 25).  Filtered sun.  Expected to be coolish overnight.  12 days until Summer officially begins.  It has been a very strange spring so far.  After the cold left a month late, the trees went nuts putting out pollen all at once.  Not nice for people with allergies.

Driving through Alabama and Tennessee a couple days ago, it was 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 degrees Celsius) and stormy with frequent lightning, heavy rain, and a period or two of hail.

 

Yesterday (back in Cleveland), it rain and stormed the whole day.

 

Today, it's about 75 degrees (about 24 degrees Celsius) and partly cloudy. There was fog this morning due to the rain from yesterday.

Nice and balmy spring here so far.  Temps have gotten over 80F only twice so far, but awfully humid with all the water in the ground after getting buried in nearly six feet of snow this past winter.  That and everything is finally green again.

besides becoming a professional in physics, psychology, physiology, law and meteorology? yes you learn a funny terminology.

jokes aside, the format is actually great because you get both a lot of and detailed information into a considerably short message and next to current conditions every 30 minutes, the forecast is *rather* reliable aswell as it covers a maximum of 30hrs updated at leat twice a day...

Angus happens to be the town that supports CFB Borden.  This is one of our largest military bases.  I suppose any damage there has been classified.
