This morning at 6 AM it was -33C, that is coldtttttt! Luckily no wind at all. Now, almost 3 PM, it is -24C, but a little wind has picked up. They say, it will be like this for the next 5 to 6 days......ouch.

Was mostly sunny with a high temperature of 71°F (21.7°C) in San Antonio, Texas, today.  It had been so mildly warm this past week, I took all the plants back out onto the sunny patio and deck yesterday.  Sure enough now, forecasts warn of an ice storm and even snow tomorrow night, and I now have to haul everything right back in.

It is 59 degrees (15 Celsius) right now. We have been nothing but dry and it's only rained once all month. Even the governor is acknowledging we are in a serious drought and Folsom Dam is operating at half capacity. Unless something is done to supply us, we might even lose our crops this year.
