I'm very happy to see the 2 buildings on the STEX, and they look great! Keep your brilliant project up as I'm also working on the project of Hong Kong...

greats stuff with the SHKC, maybe hong kong can suggest some authentic names or i could look for a very similar looking real life estate and find its name up to you guys, yeah are you guys speeding up because you seem to really be churning stuff out lately.. hey bixe whatever happpend to the ubermall

Next week I may have time for that; this week is packed. I'm wondering if I should write an all-in-one tutorial or make something like Jasoncw with his BAT school. I'm gonna have a look at his thread and see how he does things, because I can imagine that several smaller lessons are easier to "digest" than a huuuuuge tutorial that covers everything.

Just to keep everybody up to date, I'm currently finishing the readme for Dynasty Court and will send the completed archive back today. I made a transit-enabled landmark for both Euro and US road textures and transit-enabled growables for both road texture sets.

Since transit-enabled growables have the little quirk that they can't be overgrown (some of you might like that, some of you not), I also wanted to try making a growable without a functional road through the building. However, just leaving the road textures where they are would have looked stupid somehow. Fortunately, it occured to me that I could use Maxis store front props to cover up the road tunnel entrances. Now the non-TE'd growable lot doesn't look like it's lacking anything; the closed tunnel looks just like a few shops in the base of the building.

No, just slightly insane. *g* Well, now I got this sucker all wrapped up, the crunch is over! In the recent weeks, I have almost gone crazy over:

- 32 fully modded growable lots and 32 landmark test lots for the Garden Towers

- 12 fully modded growable mega-lots including self-made prop and building families plus 12 landmark test lots for my low-wealth mega lots vol 02

- 5 lots for Sun Hung Kai Centre

- 2 lots for 1IFC

- 2 lots for 2IFC

- 5 lots with transit-enabling features for Dynasty Court.

I'm glad this rush is over, and during the next days, I'm gonna spend my free time on playing some SC4 and only do occasional modding and lot-making work. 2.gif

I am making an official request here - 

Can anybody mod my Zhonghua Zutao to re-release?

New versions would feature

- Growable Lots

- Custom query window

- New buildings (like Aiguolu 73 I showed on this thread)

- Meiyuan Dafandian (Plumflower Park Hotel in Zhonghua Zutao) texture toned-down version (I will soon prepare a new SC4Model file for this.)

- Some more props to simulate the chaotic Chinese (Taiwan) feel

hey dynasty court looks wicked, im tempted to clear my stex folder of all high rises apart from the ones by you guys to make a truly hk style city, i have a couple of other asia style bats too, hey 2ch what happened to that underground megalot you were working on...

If everything goes well, you'll see some of the PP buildings popping up at STEX around mid summer. After that the new Lippo which I intend to release exactly a year after the first!

    Second there's no Commercial building at T Wrecks' at the moment. And I'm sure bixel is working on his mall.

    Hey guys first of all I'd like to congratulate you for these awesome BATs you've been making, I love all of them, and most all are on my cities with exception of Liberte, it simply doesn't grow:

    The pop on the city that I'm trying to make it grow is of 253.658 sims and the demand is on the top of the graphic, all architectural styles are enabled, water and energy it has a lot, the polution and traffic are in good ways (so it is true that every other building of yours grows) educational and health are high, so I tought it could be the way I'm zonning the lot. here is a pic

    PS. I zonnning 9x8 beeing 9 on the front (wide) and 8 on the side (long)

    I've got the same problem as yours, too. But bxel has said that the Liberte grew by luck.

    Actually I didn't say that. There is a pic early in the forums that SHOWS Liberte growing, how I am having problems too I got a 700,000 pop city and still no Liberte even though I severly restricted my residential zoning. SO!

    I may #1 Either have T Wrecks release a new LOT download with a lower occupation (and lower demand accountibility) Not a new LOT Design .

    or ---- #2 I will tweak the stats and release a downloadable LOT (taken from T's fabulous ones that he already did). I Think with our combined work we have MET THE SC4 LIMIT! WITH THE LIBERTE. I know we all want to grow this puppy, so do I, so we should seriously think about making it a little easier to grow. Also I may do yet another render of the beast, and make it better for the new release.

    I was able to grow the liberte once. but never after did I do it again.

    buildings I didn't yet get to grow:

    HSBC

    2IFC

    Jardine House

    one of the buildings from bixel's early residential pack

    When the Liberté was developed, we had a discussion about potential problems to get it to grow. It seems that the R$$ version is indeed above the limit, whereas the R$$$ version does grow well. Unfortunately, you haven't provided any information about which version you are trying to grow.

    The R$$$ version should grow there, at least in terms of lot size, zone type, tilesets and demand (if it is true that your residential demand is really that high). However, I think the attractivity of the zone is not ideal for R$$$: Roads on all sides, no parks in the immediate surroundings (plazas do nothing for residentials).... try filling this area with god-mode trees. This will boost attractivity .

    As for editing: using SC4Tool, anybody can open the lot and enter a new occupant number (a plain, simple, clear decimal number) in a rather self-explanatory graphical interface.

    With me all HKBATs grows except the $$ version of the Liberte (And Dynasty Court still not).

     My region has more than 1000000 inhabitants.  Good luck, people 9.gif

    mine has 4.5 and ive got a res $$ liberte but that was only because i demolished two towers with 8590 R$$ inhabitants each when demand was already maxed out
