Great roof junk! I really would like to know how much time you soent on all these details and ornaments. I think/hope the lower floors aren't finished yet. They don't look like they were. I don't know if I missed it but did you already tell us which building this is based on? Hope you keep it up.

^^^ It was already said which building it is - The Times Tower. You just need to read earlier posts carefully.

Amthaak - It is impossible for me to tell how happy I am, that you chose this building to make. It looks wonderful already and my only concern right now is that the building looks a little dumpy. But it's probably just a matter of scaling it up.

You did a beautiful job on the ornaments of the upper stories; The entrance and rustication of the base won't be hard for you to make :)

"Is it not cruel to let our city die by degrees, stripped of all her proud monuments, until there will be nothing left of all her history and beauty to inspire our children? If they are not inspired by the past of our city, where will they find the strength to fight for her future? Americans care about their past, but for short term gain they ignore it and tear down everything that matters. Maybe… this is the time to take a stand, to reverse the tide, so that we won't all end up in a uniform world of steel and glass boxes." - Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

Hello my friends and thanks a lot for your support.

@Seraf: as Vlad said, the difficulties come from the lack of avaible pictures with high definition; for the rest it is just patience ....! :D

@Vlad: fortunatly, you have provided some excellent pictures which help me so much, and I would like to thank you very much for that . BTW , if you find more , I'll take them! :thumb:

@francesco, thanks for the link I can read now the "out of town newspapers" sign :thumb: ! Girafe is very busy these days and have no time for the glass tut...!;)

And now a small update! I had to redone some of the columns!

Okay, since you model things like (and better than) some pros out there, are you working/studying something that involves 3dsmax? Skills like that don't come naturally :P

GOOD TEXTURES ARE MADE, NOT FOUND.
(I get tired of saying that in BAT threads.)

"Never keep up with the Joneses. Drag them down to your level." - Quentin Crisp
"I believe in talking behind peoples' backs. That way, they hear it more than once." - Fran Lebowitz
"Ordinary morality is for ordinary people." - Aleister Crowley
"No one ever said on their deathbed, 'Gee, I wish I had spent more time alone with my computer.' " - Dani Bunten Berry

hmm, maybe I should try wine as well, maybe then I could bring up some more patience :P

Maybe more creativity as well? Anyway, if those wines are as elaborate and awesome as the BATs, they ought to be good.
