Very cool!  It's a shame the game doesn't deal with graphics under water level better, but nonetheless that's a pretty good lot!  2.gif

Hello Armadeus I wrote to you a while back to ask you if you knew anything about this modd or wahtever it is. I didn't have the picture so you were not able to answer me, well I found the picture in Ragutaro's page, I don't know what they say about it, can you tell me if it is a modd to turn green the ground under the rail tracks and if there is somewhere I can get it from?

The trains are NOB's. The thread describing the mod you show is here . The modder, Gamtech, says the mod often crashes the game, and that's why he hasn't uploaded it. The last post in that thread is in August.

NOB was discussing the mod with Gamtech in that thread. Maybe NOB can give us some information about this mod. NOB?

Uwason has created a car rental shop. Sims go there by bus or on foot and leave driving cars. Download here .

Alias/Kaminko has made a partially submerged version of his ruined building. Get it here .

How are cars supposed to get into the car park?!? I like the terminal though!

I think it's what is commonly known as artistic licence. There could be updates coming for this, I'll keep looking.

Happy New Year.

There are 2 Shrines available from Kei's site. The picture won't link so you can see them here . Download link is in blue near bottom of page, not the bottom one.
Happy New Year.

Dareka has created a large dish antenna, but even he's not sure what it's for. Maybe it's to communicate with the space station he made. He says he thinks it doesn't emit mind-control signals, so don't worry for your Sims. Download here (it is a GCA archive - free tools are here ).ant.jpg
quote>

The file is no longer at this link. Does Dareka have this at another site, or does someone have this file available?

Just a small footnote.

When you download the file it is antena.gca.zip. You must rename to antena.gca so that gca.exe can extract it.

Ya know, fellas, some people don't read past the current post when they are eager to download a lot (like me 2.gif). Because of this, they wouldn't know that they would have to rename the file just so they could look at their newly aquired treasure.
Having that side note in the same post would have been a better idea.

I must say, many thanks to all those who have contributed here. I have downloaded over 100 MB of BATS from this thread alone. Keep up the great work.

I have been a long time reader, and I plan to start being more active and contributing. I only have one request right now. I would like to see some of the archologies from the old SimCity 2000. Would anyone know of any sites (Japanese or any other) that has them? I only found one on the STEX for industrial high tech. I wouldn't mind a commercial or residential one.

Thank you in advance.

EDIT - Sorry for the double-post... A lag in the forums caused it to be submitted twice.

Uwason has created a new building, which appears to be an apartment building, although he doesn't say so. There's a 7-11 on the first floor. It's a landmark in the game, it costs 0 to build and maintain, and 2005 to demolish (in honor of the new year). Get it here .

That is a composite picture - a photoshop. There is no model. The bat creator of that site says he wants to recreate the arcology from SC3000 someday, and this is how it might look. There's nothing to download.

This isn't really an arcology, but try this . You can find a full explanation of the building earlier in this thread.

Go to his page and look for the link next to the picture. Did you try that step? All the web pages hosting files that I introduce are in my signature.
These Japanese sites are almost all personal web sites. The owners have to delete files to stay within their ISPs file size allowances, the sites are closed or rearranged, and so on. You cannot expect everything to remain constant and permanent. Get it while it's hot.

Then maybe you should start doing so. It would solve your problem.

The side note was written by another person (Eddiem) because I didn't notice that piece of information. I do not have time to check and recheck every link or downloadable file here. I also do not have time to go through this enormous thread and amalgamate all the information in it. We who post information here are doing it as a favor to you who download, not as a duty.

Go back to my original post. There is a full explanation of what to do. I always explain fully whenever the link goes to a Yahoo briefcase and you have to do something special to get the file.

Go here . You will find that he has done nothing since my last post.

I have lots of new creations to tell you about.

First, Anjo has created a wierd observatory, called the Star Tower for obvious reasons. It is 2 by 2, costs 5000 to plop, 20 to maintain, and 400 to demolish. It's in the parks menu. Get it here .
ster%20tower.jpg

Next, Simsim has created a police station lot (not a BAT). Get it here .
newcity.91104754979.jpg

Rougetsu renewed his old station BAT to include bus service and parking. Get it here .
sfm.gif

If you want a humorous lot, Alias/Kaminko created an upside-down house. Get it here .
sakasama.jpg

Finally, Bikutorii created the Wind Tower, a 206 m, 40 storey office building. Get it here .
