    Thank you for the kind words! I will be suspending the ability to download this shortly, so if you want to give it a test run now is the time to do so. I look forward to hearing some comments about how it has been in your cities, if it has worked well, etc. Also, let me know of dependency issues. You should just need NAM 31 (since it is sunken 7.5 metres, not much in the way of tunnels or bridges will work with it without version 31).

    Just a heads-up, I will be releasing this train station along with supplementary platforms tomorrow, Friday March 22nd at around 8:00 PM EST. I'd appreciate feedback for those of you who have tested the model/lot, or just general suggestions, thanks!

    You're only making a few extra pieces, yet this opens a million more possibilities.

    I must admit Bipin, you don't just make models, you see gaps and fill them with explosive new ideas. It's really good to see, as I would have never thought of a modular train station nor a building that interacts with the FLEXfly.

    The wheelchair elevator sounds way cool. I would also like to echo ROFLyoshi's comments re. your models. Keep up the great work.

    Thanks for the comments all, I really appreciate those kind words, especially those spoken by you ROFLyoshi! The renders have taken a bit longer, as I decided to enhance some nightlights in the models. Due to this, you can expect them tomorrow morning (EST-observed morning).

    This Station is utterly amazing. The attention to detail is second to none. Many thanks for this wonderful BAT, I'm sure it'll appear in many CJs very soon.

    Personally, I think all stations have shelters. I'm not sure if I've said this before, but my more realistic BATs do have to be practical, as they are used in sculpture and digital drawing classes with a focus on architecture. However, that's not to say I won't include a blank lot in the future. I'm already planning on an elevator lot for wheelchair and light freight (e.g. mail) accessibility.

    Hi Bipin,

     

    Great job with the station. Will fit nicely in most types of environment, and the whole modularity concept around the overpasses is brilliant. Tested, and approved. One thing though, I would have appreciated if you included an in-game description, to give a more professional touch to the package.

     

    Very solid execution nonetheless. Thank you for sharing your creations,

    Thanks for the tip, I never considered doing that. After having read your comment, I tried modifying the descriptions, but I get an exception error whenever I tried to run Maxis' Plugin Manager. I had never received this before:

    Well I came here to ask about straight CURB walls, but it seems as though you answered that yourself.  
    I'll ask a different question instead. :)  Is there a way to fineggle the slope conforming component to get the overpass to travel over it?  Specifically an avenue? (Ignore the placement, I was just derping around with the pieces)

    You demo overpasses in the CURB retexture upload on the STEX, but I can't figure out how to get the concrete forming part to attach.

    Is there a way to chop the slope conforming component into a left side/right side part?  You mention that the underbridge parts are two bats, is it possible to chop the slope conforming into two bats as well?  I don't know how that works with 3dsMax and stuff like that.


    Possible or not, great work on them.  I really love their look.  I love that crane too, stumbled on that by accident yesterday and grabbed it as well.  Great stuff Bipin. :)

    I would like a futuristic mod  that changes the highway to future. Once I played a video game called Final Drive Nitro, It had futuristic roads and race tracks, maybe you could use it as an inspiration for this project if you decide to make it.

    This stuff looks great, but check your bridge shadows.  Right now they're just a thin line from the railing.  You'll have to play around with using a plane for the road that is invisible but still casts a shadow.

    By the way, for the best cohesion between RHW and these pieces, it is suggested that you use the American textures instead of the Euro ones. As for the shadows, I've already got that fixed along with a few other issues.

    Apart from the aforementioned illusions, I've also photoshopped in filler pieces between the ramps, which is why the textures look a bit dodgy in the mid-section . I'm working on fillers at the moment, and later I'll be doing bridges, then end-pieces. I'm not exactly sure what sort of overpasses I'll use, so let me know if you have any idea on a design. Just keep in mind they must go over RHW 6C and cannot be too long.
