EDIT: Oh, those houses are mattb325's on the LEX. Boy, I wish they were on the STEX. Our computer's firewall/security settings cause a lot of issues on the site and the LEX is blocked.

Ya'll have some pretty gorgeous suburbs! They have been inspiration.

Here's a couple of mine. I'm not a realist at all. I use mods that allow me to have all of my people work from home so that I don't have to worry about transportation issues, creating jobs and all that extra mumbo-jumbo. I know that part of the game involves all of that, but for now I love to just create. I enjoy trying to make designs from the way I place my streets and parks. That being said, please don't yell at me for not having jobs or people out driving around, lol.

clhigh7, those are some really interesting pictures, but could you please convert those humungously large PNGs to JPEG files? All your pictures amount to well over 50 megabytes, which takes ages to load. As JPEGs, they'll probably be at ~ 5 MB. Thank you.

Some nice experiments with gated communities and absolutely monotonous housing projects you got there.

@ LSuga: Whoa, I sure wouldn't want to live there - imagine you come home from a pub crawl and forgot your house number.

clhigh7, SimCity's camera saves image files in the bulky PNG format, which is not intended for Web use.  Just about any photo editing software, including the primitive Windows Paint, can make jpg copies of PNG files.

This is a posh area in one of my cities and the locals make sure that only folks with a good income move into this neighbourhood.

Since these citizens pay good taxes and have political influence in many areas I ordered to have a few trailers towed away recently.
