Second is better, however I still think it needs a bit of work. The roof on the base still looks very bare.

Excellent! Anyway if you could do twin towers that will be great with bridge just like our Petronas Tower here...see how it look like. Just a individual suggestion. Tq

looks pretty good nice modeling but I think you need to check the scale of some elements, e.g. the plants and dirt texture are extremely over-scaled I had never seen grass 4m tall in a building :) on the other hand not sure if the table with the shade is a bit under-scaled, and what about adding some variations to the terraces maybe someone left something outside or out of place.

You can also try using a more "sophisticated" material for the windows and make the building look more "alive".

Since it looks like 3dsMax, you could try use reflective glass. JasonCW has a tutorial on it, its on both his thread and blog.

Jason titorial won't work since it is based on mirrored buildings..however, try making a ground plane, say 200mx200m, take a shot of a cityscrape and give the ground plane that material (this is what the windows will reflect) right click the plane and go to object properties, make invisible from camera then click on mr settings and change to the 3rd option (pass through fg?)..

now use arch + design for your glass (and all your mats) select glass solid template and apply it to your glass...play with settings, change transparancy to a lower setting, add a bump map with noise set to say 6 or 7 and check the results..the best technique would be to hand make a few bumps and radnomise them betwee neach pane of glass..

my adivce would be to scour through Paulvmontforts, cockatoo's and simfox's thread as its discussed in detail there and I am FAR from an expert...

This could be awesome if its bought up to todays standard, keep up the good work.

I like it, make sure you lot it properly and you've got a winner. I'm not so keen on the bottom roof, but I guess thats true to life for the building?

I'd agree with Jason in saying that the tower seems to 'blue'. I'd try and match the colours a little closer to that Wren Insurance (Maxis) building you can see in the background.

The only other thing I'd suggest is to revamp that roof garden on top of the base section, try adding some pathways, maybe a few more features. The trees could also look a bit less 'neon' if you know what I mean.

The lighting is trippy, I like it. :ohyes:

It is really good actually, you have improved much since you first started this thread. I would like a little more life at the ground floor, as i 've said, but except that everything else is really good.
