Thank you everybody for your comments, it's a pleasure for me to see that you appreciate my BATs. T Wrecks: I agree that fences are a little too clean, however, I didn't find a texture that had a better render, so I decided to keep them as. Montcalm: Thank you for your comments, I very appreciate. The BATs will normally be set to download the next weekend. Update of 20/02/12 I have three new things today: > Boucherie Baunard After long hesitation, I decided to keep the terrace as such, because I could not find suitable plants. So I hope that it will not seem too empty. The download will consist of 4 lots in $$ and will be in Commercial Service. Here 2 lots in 1 * 2, one with a small garden and the other with a backyard. And 2 other lots in 1 * 3, again one with a small garden and the other with a back yard: > Bourse de l'immobilier This is a very old BAT (Made 3 years ago) inspired by a real estate agency in Brest. The BAT is designed to your Suburban and the download will consist of 5 lots, all in CS$$. The lot in 1 * 2 Two lots in 1 * 3, one with a larger parking and the other with a back yard: A lot in 1 * 4, with a backyard and parking: A lot in 2 * 2: And for finish, an ingame night view. > Kervescar: The BAT is in R$ and the download is declined in 4 LOTs The lot in 2 * 1, simple, with a small garden: two versions of the LOT in 2 * 2: - One more rural: - And the other, more urban: And finally the lot in 3 * 1, which respects most closelythe BAT and his land before its destruction: I hope you will like it. Happy new year simtropolis and thank you everybody for your comments. The time passes (thank you the french high school and his schedules x-x) but still I haven't stopped the bat. Since the 20 July, I have finished to lot the C.G.C, Roc Bihan + two other Bats and one Lot. You can see that I haven't lost my time. ^^ Upload of the 15/02/2012 > C.G.C + an night view The bat is a CS$$ and is available in 3 three lots. The first is a lot of 2 * 2 for village, with a garden for the managers and a small backyard whith some boxes as gas cylinders (and gasoline). The second is an urban version of the 2 * 2 with the disappearance of the garden in favor of a larger back yard with a direct access to the street. the third version is a bigger lot (2 * 3) and a mix of the two versions. There is a garden too, but also a much bigger backyard. That's a lot for mid-sized cities. > 60's Debenhams Departement Store So here is a relotted version of GaryReggae's Debenhams, available in his prop pack on the LEX. This store is very common in England, but may be used as shopping arcade for your city, because this type of BAT, built in the 60s, is quite common in our urban center. Some pictures: It's also a CS$$ with a lot is 6 * 7, which is quite big. I had a little problem for the backyard because the LODs's BAT aren't really great. > 63-64 Avenue de la France Libre, Quimper The 63 Avenue de la France Libre are two old houses that were in ruins. They were destroyed last week to be replace by a school. So I decided to bat them for restored them , although again I deliberately keep the dirty side: The 64 Avenue de la France libre was a garage (or an established of the school next it), which was demolished with the house. I decided to keep the dirty side and a little run down for more realism. The Garage can be used both in town and in rural aera > Roc Bihan His lotting is finsihed and is ready to be upload. The Bat have 8 lots (4 in R$$ and 3 in R$$$), inspired of Britton's gardens. Here two lots in 2 * 2, for your suburban: Then the lot 2 * 3, also for the urban focus, but with a larger garden(I can see it in a village or in a less dense urban areas): A lot in 3 * 2, also for suburban: A lot in 3 * 3: A lot 3 * 4, with a garden inspired by those found along South Britain: A lot 4 * 4, with its own park (I was inspired by the gardens of houses along the Aven ( a britton's river)) And finally a 4 * 5 lot, more large, with a pool and a park. The lot is inspired by a garden of a house next to my house) I hope you will like it. Vivien

Supermec: Thank you for your comment Aaron Graham: Thank you TowerDude: Merci pour ton commentaire Francis90B: Thank you For the ridgepole, It was red because the real bat have a ridgepole in this colour. Frex_Ceafus: Thank you Update of the 15/07/11 A lot of new things today: > Kermahonnet: The Bat was exported and the Lot have done (there is 5 lots): + a night view in-game: So, I have just to make the read-me and the BAT can be uploaded. > Garage Kermoguer: The Bat is also export and the lot is also done: It is a CS$ >Boucherie Baunard: This Shop is a butcher and it is a W2W Corner. The buildings was built during the fifities and it's a exemple of the Britton Urban Shops built between 1950 and 1960: I don't made lights inside the Butcher because I have a bug that I can not fix, so I prefer to leave it like that. This BAT is nearly finished, since I have just to ended the terrace > Roc Bihan The last Bat that I start is a house for your the $$ and $$$ sims. The stye of the house is called Neo-breton because the architects of these type of house take theirs inspirations of the Stone house and others Britton Penty built during the XIX century and during the first part of the XX century. These type architecture was very popular between 1965 and 1990 and there is a lot of houses like this in Brittany: As you can see, there are 2 version of the BATs. The first is an orthogonal version and the second is an diagonal version. This will allow me more freedom and more possibility when I would make the lots. This BAT is the first of a long series of Breton houses (20 overall) that I hope finish before Christmas. Vivien

Great work Frex on this Bats. The scale is better than your first rendering. However, I prefer to remind you that the scale of sim city 4 is .... strange. Indeed, the sims are 4m tall and the Maxis Bats have the good scale compared to the reality. Besides, the sim city 4's roads are too wide than the reality, because the sidewalk is 4 m and the road is 8m whereas the road's wide in reality measure between 3-3.50m . The maxis Bat are too small than sc4 Environnement. So, I don't recommand you to compare your BAT scale with the Maxis BAT scale, but to use this scale: when you make BAT. 4.5-5m to the high of a floor 1.4m wide by 3.6-3.8 high for a single door (so a double door is something like 2.8m wide by 3.6-3.8 high) Multiplied by 1.33 the length and width if your recreat a realy BAT. This scale is commonly used by sc4 Batter and I think it's the better scale for a BAT. I hope that you understood what I say, because the sc4'scale is really complicated to explicate, espcially when you have a bad english like me. Vivien

Good morning and welcome in my BAT thread. In this thread, you will see my different creations for sim city 4. I haven't a specific style of BATs, perhaps I like to bat some commercial BATs (for Suburban malls or Commercial aera. I also really like the English and Breton style of the Fifties and Sixties. I'm also form part to the TSC team since 3 years now, so if my bat have the TSC logo, it's normal. Projects: Kermahonnet( a small countryside house built during the fifties): finished C.G.C ( Store that sells heating equipments (electric radiators etc ...) and gas): finished Garage Kermoguer ( A small car repair): finished Le boulevard ( a pub and a newspaper agency) : not started AXA insurance agency ( a French insurance agency): not started Boucherie M.Baunard ( a French butcher): not started -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - The first BAT that I make is a small countryside house built during the fifties: The alone problem with the house is the skylight that is too small in order to be seen Besides, in addition of the house, I have also made a garage: I exported the garage to see if it wasn't too small, and as you can see, It's enough wide to "allow" pass a Simcity 4's cars like the Orange, CP , Heblem and Mikeseith's cars The red car is the C.P.'s car The green car is the Orange's car The black car is the LBT's car The orange car is the Mikeseith's car - The second BAT is the C.G.C which means Chauffage et Gaz de Cornouailles, in french and Heating and Gaz of Cornouailles in english. The store sells gas ( in bottled), but mainly radiators and other items for heating. - Finally, the third and last BAT is a small car repair, called Garage Kermoguer, to go with my store and to fill in the space wich would have in the LOT. And a photomonatge to give you an idea of the two bats together. Your opinions ? Vivien

Nice update. Your countryside is really beautiful, great work.
  10. Medina V2.0 - Update 56

    Great mosaic.
  11. Roger's Hidden Lights

Exellent update. I think your idea to do two cities on two different games (one in sim city 4 and one in CXL) is very original. Furthermore, the pictures and the city are very nice, specially the airport in sim city 4 and the artisitc picture of your CBD in CXL.
  12. The metropolis of Marvarta

Interesting pictures and update. The best picture is your CBD but your suburbs look also very nice.
