I recently rebuilt all the highways in Virgin Shores with RHW 3.0...

An interchange on the new Southern Expressway (VS-101):

A partial diamond where it crosses under VS-1:

VS-1 Exit 1:

A modified cloverstack (based off of one in Patricius Maximus's Patrician Showcase) between VS-1 and VS-2.

An elevated portion of VS-2 with frontage roads:

(apologies for the brown box, didn't notice it until I was posting this)

VS-1 Exit 4:

These will all be featured shortly in a CJ update.

Here's some new RHW 3.0 work:

The over view.

This trumpet/frontage road hybrid is a wacky way to switch from the major N/S Rivers County Expressway(bases on Long Island Expressway) to a small Crosstown Expressway viaduct.

CAUTION: HIGH WEAVE ZONE!!

intercge1ar9.jpg

Now, the top part of that exit(to State Street) at the bottom,

And the HIGH WEAVE ZONE(splitter section)the splitter does cut the weave traffic off from the main Expressway, however.[looking South]

intcgelookingsnn9.jpg

The trumpet itself. and the traffic circle accsaessable only by the frontage roads, (shown far below)[also south]

trumpetiv2.jpg

The northern filter, where access to the above roundabout is gained. frontage roads are again present here, north of the interchange.[again, looking south]

Wow these are great interchanges!! I'll have a few of mine to show soon enough.

I have a few questions though. DTP, where did you get the stone walls you used for the elevated avenues, and where did you find that huge mall in the 4th pic?

The stone wall I believe you're referring to is by mas 71 and is on the LEX, and the mall is on the STEX (river rock or something?). Sorry I can't link you, you'll just have to search for it.

Shaddow09: I think many of the builders here already know of Kurumi.com, but I think CBRD is less well known. That site gave me some ideas. I would advise anyone interested in interchanges to check out CBRD.

Here's an interchange I rebuilt with RHW 3.0 in River City. Unfortunatly, I don't have a pic of the old one. This one had to be built in a small space. Oh, and if your wondering, the "bridge" at the top has been replaced by FLUPs. I'll get another angle when I have time.

    Click for FULL size.

    A pic of an interchange

As you can see, the eye candy hasn't been fully implemented yet.

I don't know what to put here anymore.

Actually it kinda does. If you look close enough you can see little gray lines where the RHW is. Its not actually marked but you can see it.

I have been messing around with the RHW 3.0 for a few days. I got bored in my classes and began to draw interchanges. Here are a couple from a city I hope to turn into a CJ, Illuminous.

Here is the M1 and the Western Connect

    TheM1andConnectorWest.jpg

And here is the M1 and the Eastern Connect

    TheM1andConnectorEast.jpg

These are not complete four-way interchanges. Both of the connectors come from the same motorway entering the city in the south. The Eastern Connect is similar to the one in the south. Obviously, I have not begun too much development of the city. Downtown will be in the "Triangle" formed by the different motorways.

    Hope you enjoy!

    ~Brady

EDIT--By the way. I am using LHD with an American version. I kept forgetting which direction to go. Thank goodness for the traffic generators.

    Some more interchanges.

First off, the same expressway in my last post.

This filter has the express lanes go over the avenue, the extra lanes t-intersect with the avenue,

while the local lanes do not change position, and stay by the expressways side. On the left, the

    expressway becomes 6-S.

    splittereh3.jpg

A simple diamond with frontage roads on Rivers County X-Pressway,

    The White Street Exit.

    whitestreetexitry7.jpg

Now, a T-bone interchange, and the west end of the Madison Road Interchange the frontage

     rodas end here.(North to right)

    tboneandnorthendmadisonhd5.jpg

The Greenville Parkway actually turns into the frontage roads of the RCE.

The Madison Road Interchange, from Above.(North to Left.)I really like how the diagonal

exit turned out at the top right.

    eastendmadisonstexitntoqr7.jpg

A trumpet on the Greenville parkway. The GLR avenue at the bottom is Broadway.(North to left)

    greenvillepkwaytrumpetnoi0.jpg

Back to the main X pressway

    A random trumpet/ parclo/ diamond thingy.

It was originally a simple trumpet, but with the extension of Broadway, a fourway hybrid was

    made.

    trumpetdiamondparclothioo4.jpg

    That's it for now.
