Schulmanicus: Mool Wool

The island of Mool Wool is located in the northeastern part of the Tenne Sea, just east of Pyy and home to the district government of New Schulmanicus. The mountainous, verdant island is home to two cities: Mool Wool and Upper Mool Wool, the district capital. Each city is divided into several parts, as the mountains running across the island divide the construction zones along the coasts. The district governor, whose position conveys the title of Margrave of New Schulmanicus, lives in the Government House on the western coast of Upper Mool Wool. The island has been proclaimed a duchy and the Duke (or Duchess) of Mool Wool has an estate on the island. The current Duke of Mool Wool is Princess Ava’s eldest kitten, Don Silvestre Gattito.

At far left is the Predation Exchange Building, where fresh game and game futures are bought, sold and traded. How do you trade in fresh game futures? Beats me… I didn’t go to business school…
 

The Port Authority Building sits next to the ferry terminal. Behind it is the ProForce Building (Protective Forces – fire, police and ambulance).
 

The first three pictures are from the west coast of the island. This is the part of Mool Wool on the eastern coast.

Upper Mool Wool has three segments: on the west coast there are the two bits shown above and on the eastern coast is the bit with the ferry port.
 

The district capital is located in Upper Mool Wool. The Government House, shown above, is the seat of local government for Pyy, Mool Wool and other locales in the New Schulmanicus District. The governor lives here during his term of office.
 

There is a robust commercial sector in Upper Mool Wool. Local currency is in the approval process. In the meantime, coins from Schulmanicus serve the needs of the locals.
 

One of the more noteworthy structures in the built environment on the island is this one, right across from Government House
