In total, the Admiral spent 4 days at the Vet Hospital in Fort Wirt. Her blood calcium levels have dropped significantly and now she is continuing her recovery at home. Here is a picture of her during the recovery. Her front right paw was shaved because she needed an IV to help get her hydrated and help get her blood chemistry back in shape.

She is feeling better already and thanks everyone for their support.

emperordaniel Thank you for your kindness. She is doing better at the moment. But, she is not cured. She will require careful monitoring to keep her at her best.

Archean Thanks, Mikey. She is doing better at the moment. With the various health scares this year, her weight is down quite a bit. We are all hoping she will start pounding down the Fancy Feasts soon.

111222333444 Thanks for inquiring… she is recovering well and now in physical therapy. Her cast has come off and she has use of all 4 paws. Which came in handy for her birthday party.

Leech10 We hope so too. She has had several major health scares in the past year. She turns 14 soon and with her conditions closely monitored, her future should be good.

emperordaniel She is working on getting it back in ASAP.

NMUSpidey We are very relieved.

Leech10 She does. With all of the health issues she has had in the past year, she is down to about half of her weight before the issues started. To get her back to a healthy weight, it is open season on every container of Pounce, Fancy Feast, Friskies, and Science Diet in sight!
