gabo26293 Luckily with the EP1-Patch you don't need to register at the SimCity 4 site. Download the patch here at: http://simcity.ea.com/update/index_update.php?product=EP1&x=43&y=18 To install open the zip and run the installer and you should be ok face-icon-small-smile.gif I hope this answers your question gabo26293. Man, thank you so much for that link....just what I needed!!!!

Could you include the tranportation add-on?

For lack of a better place to post this, I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of a landmark called "Francolopis Place" by any chance?

Reason why I ask, is simply because I seem to be missing some dependancies for the thing. It has been in my plugins folder literally FOREVER now. I think itmay have been one of the first things I have ever d/l, and believe it or not, I do not beleieve I have ever used it in any of my cities, ever until just tonight. I found out I am missing some parts of this building.... :/

I have a slightly annoying problem, which I don't know what to do about. I started with SimCIty 4, the UK version. Then I started getting mods, BATs Lots etc etc etc, mainly from here. I wanted the nightlighing to work, so i got SC4UpdateForBAT, but you need the EP1 patch. When I Install that, various textures and props disappear from original maxis lots, most notably the carpark lines on the police stations and the trees from the large park green (and others).

Can someone point out what I'm doing wrong, or a way to get around this?

OK. I reinstalled the game, everything back to how it used to be. Then downloaded the EP1 update in internet explorer (it did most of it itself). And then there I was with missing textures etc. again. The high and medium settings did not bring them back, either.

I messed up my SimCity 4 registration...I really wanted to download the Maxis landmarks and props but I forgot my password...so I tried to recover it but they said the account didn't exist...(I was pretty sure it 100% existed)

So I checked my email to see if my account activation was there...and I remembered that I DELETED it.

I then decided to make a new one...and a similar thing happened...

I checked my other email to see if the activation email was there, and it was there so I activated my account

but it said my account didn't exist...

I have discovered a solution my own problem. To anyone else who shares my problem, you must simply go to the simcity.ea.com website, go to the bit about BAT and download the script file, and follow the instructions given.

Well it still won't work for me... I've tried IE, Firefox, and Safari and they all have the same problem. You did click the update link, not the link to the website with the other maxis files, right? Somethings wrong and I'm guessing its in my computer. Its just weird; I've never had trouble with hyperlinks before.

Hey all,

Im trying to get gmax back up and running .. err .. the BAT tool I guess, and am looking for some old files.

1. is an early camera/lighting rig fix .. trying to open old files that use : TB2_CameraLightRigHuge_fixed_v1.gmax for example.

2. The other is a set of scripts that I actually helped write and have unfortunately lost track of. was called BSC BAT Tools or something like that. Can't really remember anymore >.<

Any help would be great!

I think the problem is with the site itself. Not sure, but I beleive they are updating the site, so it has been down for a few days. I've been having the same problem. If you google simcitynation, the description is "coming soon", so I think the domain is being modifiied in some way.

Still not working! Sorry to be so hasty, but can't someone else upload it? It's not like EA is going to sue you if you upload it! It may be against their policy or whatever, but when was the last time they cared for their SimCity 4 customers?

Someone please upload it...

Hey, can someone help me with my problem? I have downloaded some of these add ons and extracted them and placed them in the plugin file

When i play sim city 4, when i try to insert the buildings, they come in the form of a present, a large box. Can someone tell me what i am doing wrong? When i extract the files, i copy all the content to the plug in file, do i need to make sub files for them to work? Thanks

You're missing some dependencies required for the buildings to work, thus they show up as a big brown box.

Ok, thanks. Also, i was wondering how i would know what dependencies i am missing? I download the files from this website and then copy them to the plug in file. Is the dependency files different for every tower/building? Thanks for the help btw

For all who wants to download the BAT including the Plug-in Manager together with LE, they can visit:

http://www.simprograms.com/programs-simcity-4/

I hope it helps, and the only things I need now is the bldgprop_vol1.dat and the second one, does anyone know where I can get these so called .dat files? [deleted by tungston]

Please read the site rules concerning "unofficial" copies of the game.
