My aunt always told me: "If you can;t say nice things to other people, then don't say anything at all," in a lecturing sort of tone. 1) She was not my mother. 2) Her son (my little cousin,) was a mean-spirited, sadistic freak. Conclusion: I don;t take to her advice very well. This lot is TERRIBLE. I know it is an oldie, and I hope I don't run into another one like this as I go through the older files.

PEG SPAM Traffic MOD (AddOn)
RisKFactoR commented on Pegasus's file in SPAM - SimPeg Agricultural Mods
@ DAB_City: READ! It is, indeed, "spelled out." Both in the Readmes, and if you don;t want to d/l it to read those, in the description up above on this very page. Both in the official "description" at the top of this very page, and in a comment by Pegprod posted 4/15/11 just five comments above yours. -

I gave 2/5 for the effort. Seriously do not like the background, but at least it's original. For those who dunno how to install it, you want to replace the default backgrounds. For the default Sim City install, that would be in your pgram files/maxis/simcity folder. NOT your user/mydocs/simcity folder. (Windows loves to split your game file installs in two different locations. One location contains all the custom folders that Windows thinks is ok for the user to touch. That is where you have your plugins typically installed for sim city. The other location contains files that Windows thinks contains files that should NOT be touched by the user as it could cause problems. That's where you can find the background files that should be replaced if you decide to d/l mods like these. I highly do not recommend you do so unless you know what you are doing, know what to look for in case it does not work, and how to fix your problems to make the game work normally. Custom backgrounds like these can cause serious issues with certain video cards or system configurations.)

I was going to refrain from commenting, because, quite frankly, I was always taught that if you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all. But one commenter said something in the "Police HQ REMAKED (ugh!)" building you uploaded: It is kind of offensive to those who spend a lot of time and energy to making mods for this game. Lord knows, I have never uploaded anything myself. But I cannot, out of good conscience, give you anything other than a 1/5. Anything higher than a 1 for these lots, only serves to cheapen the rating system. Far too many lots have 4 or 5 out of 5 as it is. A 2/5 is sub-par, but not complete trash (at least they tried), 3/5 is "good" in my opinion. 4 is excellent, and 5 should be reserved only for the very best of the best. A "1" is only reserved for complete and utter trash in which the uploader didn't even TRY to make something unique. Just re-lotted old Maxis building and call it their own. That's called "plaigerism." Do. Not. Do. That. Period. Then to ask for people to rate you high just because it was your first time (with terrible grammar and all: It has a massive radias and can you please rate good because this is my first upload." ) only cries to give you a bad rating. You couldn't even either 1) Apologize or at least explain that English is not your first language, or 2) you were too lazy or incompetent to type correctly. Sorry. Like I said, I was not going to comment because there was just simply nothing good to say. But dangit, if it doesn't make me angry that a rating system should be cheapened for all those hard-working mod-creators out there, just to cater to one person that decided to plagiarizer with a childishly written description while begging to "rated good" just because it is your first upload. (Not to mention, someone had to call you out as a liar, because this was NOT your first upload. *rollseyes.*)

I agree about the dependencies, and is the only reason why I am not d/l this mod. I got in BIG trouble with my plugins folder, and decided to scrap the city I have been working on for a coule of years in order to do a fresh install with fresh folder. Would love to have this, but don't want to go down that road of a dependency-heavy mod any longer. Sorry.

yeah punctuation and capitalizations help quite a bit in understanding you say residential or commercial etc when its easier to just say rci he says rci he says it increases current zoning limitations which is exactly what you said about it automaticalling zones the size limits of whatever plus it wasn't tropod who gave that description it was horia0310 so there

II would rate this extremely poorly, because now I want to go to my city region I have been working on since 2004, and re-build the rail system I had going on in the very early stages. Regular ground rail has largely been replaced with the El train, and most of the El line as been replaced with the subway system. AAARRGHH!!! Anyway, doubt it ill be much useful to my region, but I d/l it anyway. I plopped it just to lok at it, and I gotta give a 5/5. Great job!

Someone said about mixing the night lights. It's a great building, but that person was right: The night lights are all in straight lines, when they should be distributed rather unevenly throughout lol. I really wish I could give half points, because it's a 4.5, But alas, I can only give it a four. :(. Anyway, 4/5!
