Yeah, jmsepe, I just started to participate on the forums and CJ section in january this year, I had nothing to do last times, but today my classes started, so my post count will stop growing so fast

I did not understand the question well. But if you're asking about how the universities run here, they work per semester, the first begins in March and ends in June and the second begins in August and ends in November. If I am not mistaken in much of the world is so, in semester, just the summer/winter vacation changes. Each semester we do a period of college, Electrical Engineering for example has 10 periods, ie, it takes me five years to graduate.
