Since @Raymond7cn mentioned it (thanks!) in another thread, here are a couple of closeup pics how I handle the end of a rail line:

@CorinaMarie

Those places sure are trainspotter's paradises. I can imagine being a factory worker in one of those paper mills, and being distracted as the 13:47 train to Bug Tussle thunders into the loop, picks up the passengers, and heads off into the distance on its merry way. Raymond's Rural Depot stations sure fit really nicely as well into these scenes too.

I admire how you're able to integrate farms with factories, and other urban development. Those filled trees bordering farms really go great also. *:8)

@CorinaMarie Thank you, Cori, *:thumb: They have gone to my collection. add to CB's words: I was  always busy with connecting every roads streets etc in my city, But now I have learnt that a real artist wouldn't do that, She just puts them in appropriate places and leaves that to your imagination. Hiya @CorinaMarie and @Cyclone Boom, Do you hear peeps are calling for a dedicated CJ from CoriBoom™ ? *:D it's so perfect, it's perfect!

Edit: I think your traffic isn't likely to be congested, whereas I'm kind of curious about the financial situation. *:D

Hi there CB,

if i may ask: whats that and why?

Sure! Let me explain... *;)

This is the Looping Loops section of road that was specially designed so the Corillionites can learn advanced skills of motoring precision.

Along with allowing regular travel, it functions as a slalom course which is open every Tuesday from 12:02 to 15:37 in the afternoon. As pictured Cori can be seen driving her pretty pink car, since she's the expert at navigating around the course, leading by exquisite example. The other Sims are following behind and trying their utmost best to keep to the track. It must be completed at a precise rounded average speed of 42 mph (which includes the return trip also). There are eagle-eyed line judges like in tennis to check whether they cross over the white lines. These marshals carry red or green flags to raise depending on whether an infraction has occurred or not.

Often the Sims fail miserably. But on this occasion, I'm pleased to confirm all of them above (as pictured) did pass this stage. With flying colours as well, which is very rare to happen (only the 2nd time in history). So they'll be given their licenses very soonly, once they've successfully completed the Wavy Waves section next. *:)

Spoiler

I just thought of the above as a believable backstory right now.  (Which is of course true, since Cori and I enjoy role playing with storylines in game!)

But the initial reason I made the roads like this was since I simply thought it was a bit of silly fun! *:lol:

I imagine it also helps slow down them visiting cityfolk who drive at 70mph with their eyes on their phones..

Roseland Railways stopped using steam trains in the early 1970s, so it was a massive surprise to capture this shot from the top of my tower block this morning going through the suburbs of East Frenchester.
