     The city of Baramaya grows and grows! This has led to the formation of some really nice areas all over the place!     

 

The fat cats who don't want to mingle with the filth of the plebs have fled in droves to form their hillside mansion neighborhood, which might as well become a full city in its own right!

 

 

Conversely, with the arrival of a new rail line to the southern side of the city, a new and lush tropical park was established to add charm and beauty to what may become the new gateway into the city!

I like to use the three's as a barriere between the industrial, commercial and residential! 
Almost the whole industrial is growable, didn't plop a lot.

Town of Otasamu, Karafuto.  Began as a small Ainu fishing village, Imperial Japan built a railroad through the area and the town's economic importance grew.  Today, Otamsamu-dera temple buttresses local neighborhoods.  The coastline to the east remained undeveloped for decades and eventually was incorporated into a wildlife preserve.

Olympic Park, in the city of Ochiai, a suburb of Karafuto's capital and largest city, as the residents prepare to host the nation's first Games in a few years.  The area has historical significance as an old Korean and Japanese settlement.

Oho's NOIA (North of Ito Avenue) features rolling hills with single family homes and some dorms and apartments for the college students. in contrast to the districts to the south, Downtown and Koreatown.  The University of Oho and the University of Oho Medical Center are the main employers in this section of town.

Historic Central Square in Minikuidesu, Karafuto, marks the location of the former trading post's founding and is now site to the largest Russian Orthodox Church in the nation as well as the northernmost Japanese-style castle.  Unlike much of the rest of the island, Russian and Japanese lived together without much conflict.  The opportunities brought Koreans and Ukrainians later, who settled permanently and built their own contributions around the square.
