nice idea!!! I agree, I think it would be really awesome if it was functional.

It would be good to function as an airport because then it give a booost to the commercial area and still look realistic becuse you don't really have large airports in the middle of downtown

if you made it an airport, you'd have to make sure only helicopters could use it.

Indeed, a functional heliport would be a wonderful thing. I currently have a small-map city sector with just enough commercial that it is screaming for an airport...and there's simply no place to put one. Something like this, if it could be made functional, would be a perfect solution.

Thanks for your comments! Didn't excpect such a positive response. Yes it would be perfect to make it work, but I have no idea on how to do it. I'll ask Joerg and see if he can help me.

This is a very well-made lot. I am going to download and look into making it functional.

Perhaps we can come up with something like this on top of a building. That seems to be the way it is done in the big cities, although NYC has a heliport along the waterfront at ground level
