About This File

Hello again, for now I create this set, it consists of 6 rural churches and 2 synagogues. These churches are mostly located in historic region Gemer in southern Slovakia. All BATs are landmarks. This pack consists of:

3 small rural churches and 1 small synagogue: cost 15000€, size 1x2:

Catholic church in Ozdany (18. century),

Catholic church in Jesenske (18. century),

Reformed church in Tornala (15. century),

Synagogue of Malacky ( end of 19.century)

3 medium smalltown churches and 1 medium synagogue: cost 30000€, size 2x3:

Catholic church in Rimavska Sobota (18. century)

Reformed church in Rimavska Sobota (18. century)

Clarissed church in Bratislava (end of 13. century)

Synagogue of Trnava ( end of 19. centrury)

Dependency:

BSC Textures Vol 03

If you have any advices or problems, write them.

I create this set because I really miss our churches from central and eastern Europe, on this website are mostly western EU or US, and my synagoues are the first in SC4 what is little bit shame after all these years.

You are a miracle worker. All we need now are some R$$$/C$$$ Slovak houses.

Very nice, thank you.  These will go well with my current rural style.  Canada is full of ethnic buildings as we encourage a general cultural mosaic.  5/5

Later:  Hey, I also have a download called Gemer.rar.  It contains different stuff, so no matter.  But do try not to duplicate names because when extracted they are the same, and this may cause a problem.  I am changing the name of Gemer.rar to Gemer.old.rar

And even later:  FYI, I process entries like this to reduce the number of files and to speed up POV changes.  Using Files2DAT, your tree now looks like this:

Gemer
├── Chuches of Rimavska Sobota
│   └── RS.dat
├── Church in Bratislava
│   └── Bratislave.dat
├── Church in Jesenske
│   └── Jesenske.dat
├── Church in Ozdany
│   └── Ozdany.dat
├── Church in Tornala
│   └── Tornata.dat
├── Synagogue of Malacky
│   └── Malacky.dat
└── Synagogue of Trnava
    └── Trnava.dat

Unless you have a specific reason, why not condense your files in a similar manner?  Gives you better control over your release.

All installed and working (tested).  Again, thanks.

The trick of condensing a BAT to a .dat is necessary on this machine when there is a very large number of files in a single directory.  There appears to be a bug in the kernel or in the file system which, although it is documented for an unlimited number of open files, does indeed crash when there are too many.  Had this happen about a year ago, and condensing the directory to a *.dat allowed me to run the game just fine.  Took me a couple of days to figure out what was going on.

However, as an old BATter myself, I would go back and republish some of mine, but I no longer have the original files.

Wallibuk, you are doing a magnificent job with the central European BATs.  Many of us never have the privilege of going to the Balkan states, and the culture there is amazing from what little we see in your work.
