You may recognize this terrain from the table top. Modeled after Ulthuan -the crescent shaped High Elf Kingdoms from Warhammer- this map is 54 large tiles of coastline, mountains and islands.
I used five different Ulthuan maps as a reference point. Each reference had different levels of fidelity and their own take on location and terrain placements. So it's more of a composite than exact.
I've been testing the map with different games and NAM settings over the past few months and I've got it to a good release point. Hills/Mountains are quite gradual with their inclines in places for better building. You may have to weather them some before mayor mode if you're going for realism.
This is the largest map I've built to date at 54 large tiles. I hope you enjoy it, and have fun!
