About This File
An entirely fantasy tropical region I got bored and made. I know the mountains are a bit pointy/isolated, I probably should've used the erosion effect on more than one city tile, and you can see road grooves on one tile I built on (SC4mapper shouldn't render the city itself though
), but I hope it's still good
. The region's distinguishing features are a barrier island chain, a large cluster of atolls, a mountain range, a large inland lake, a sugarloaf mountain-style plateau, lots of volcanoes in the islands, and a small second mainland area with a meteorite crater that fills 2¼ city tile of land. Should be moderately challenging, pollution-eating mods are recommended as the terrain can force you to create some undesirable industrial zone placements, and slope mods should probably be turned off or to their most tolerant settings. I know it looks nooby compared to some of the other awesome stuff i've seen here, but it's quite my pride and joy, I retain 4 copies of it, agricultural, megalopolis, suburban, and unbuilt because I like building and rebuilding on it. It's the first region I made, I did it on a 2-day car ride home from visiting relatives over spring break.
