I think the tower looks really good, but the textures are too flat. Adding a bit more detail with the textures, like roughing it up, adding bricks, or just cracking the roof a little would of made this even better :3

Very neon. The colours are way too bright, the textures are flat, and the roof is barren. The model seems fine, but it's not helped by being dressed in poor textures. The lot takes up way too much real estate with far too little going on to legitimize the land usage.

You may consider opening up a thread on the forums to get ideas for improvement, for certainly some room exists for it. Check out some lots by Mattb325 for inspiration; You'll notice he keeps things interesting and varied, breaking up the visual patterns.

There's potential here for a great building, but not enough sweat has poured from your brow yet...

Yes, I know that with textures would have been much better. True, I have not figured out how to add texture to Gmax. Would have been possible, I would do it with textures. And so, while I can not ...

And so, while you cannot, you should do a little research before releasing something, you can even a BAT thread show your work, get feedback from more experienced BATers and even ask questions. There is no need to rush to upload unfinished stuff...

kinda has that 50's vibe with the main color...although i like the blue, the yellow is eewww

could use some full trees for coverage.....i'd like to suggest putting the kiddie section closer together (or trash it) to make room for a pool

Cut him some slack, it's his first BAT, I think it's fine jakis, it's good for a first BAT/beginner. :D

I think that's not the best attitude to have. Things shouldn't be rated based on how good they are based on someone's abilities. They should be rated based on how well the stack up to other buildings. Of course, you can't blame someone for being new at something, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't expect the best they can give just because they are new. Besides, no one was being harsh and they were all just giving him constructive criticism that hopefully will help him improve.
Jakis, I would definitely open a BAT thread if I were you. That's literally the best thing you can do to improve yourself (as long as you take heed in the criticism given there). The next best thing you should do is to try and hold yourself to the same standard as someone much better than you, like jasoncw or nofunk. You won't get results as good as them right away, but if you work your hardest to get your stuff up to their snuff, it will get much better much faster.

Good luck on your next BAT.

Same problem that i do, i'm always give textures is so flat. But i see your bat very very like a plastic toys (no texture). I optimised that it will be a good structure, make it better. :) very nice

Honestly, if you change the texture, you could receive 5 star, it just nearly perfect. Unfortunately, no texture could mean a big trouble for you, it seem that you lost 3 star, and i'll help you a bit. My first BAT is worse, while yours is good, but a problem come with texture, you don't have any texture that you download from any site, right ? Well, i'll tell you some sites, though i just know a bit, but i'm sure if cgtextures.com will help you a lot, you also capable to search them here, just write this word : Texture. Here:

Sorry, but when i use the link instantly, the picture just won't come, so at least i already send the link.

I think it's great for a first bat.The lot needs some props though it's to bare. Now for the rating i think is harsh it deserves at least 3 stars.
