About This File

After almost two months of work it's finally here: the Stoplight Replacement Mod (SRM)! This mod replaces all the in-game stoplights with custom full 3D stoplights. The stoplight setups are more advanced than the standard stoplights, and all stoplight posts are rendered HD (the stoplights themselves are full 3D so automatically HD-compatible).

So, what does the SRM have to offer?

  • 4 stoplights layout setups: 3 RHD compatible and one LHD compatible setup.
  • 8 different signal models, all available in a large and small version
  • 7 different stoplight post models, all rendered in HD
  • Endless ways to combine the above in different compositions, whatevery you like!
Please read the ReadMe for detailed installation instructions. If you still have questions or bug reports, post them at the Stoplight Replacement Mod (SRM) Support Topic

Have fun!

Best,

Maarten

Quick question - I installed it and used the yellow signal models, unfortunately they showed up in game as a sort of checkered red/green/blue thing that didn't effect all of the stoplights. Do you know how this may have happened? Are there conflicts with this mod and the LRM 4.0?

This one is reported on the support topic before, and it seems that the mod doesn't like to show the back panel when you use software rendering. Try hardware rendering instead or switch to a set without back panels. I have to come up with a patch for this...

Does it support Left hand drive? Meaning the Stop lights in correct LHD place instead of it just working with LHD.
Yes, there is one setup that places the stoplights on the left side of the road, as they should be in LHD

I just downloaded it and i don't see any setup inside of it. Where is it?

You could try to get a pdf converter and convert it to another format.

wicked stoplights. ever considered attempting putting streetlights on top of the stoplights?

Awesome. Looks like you did an excelent job. Looks mutch better than the maxis default stoplight. When the game default signal turns red it looks like the green light is still lit. Your stoplights solved that problem when the light is red, all you see is a red light. thankyou.

Best traffic light mod out there! Absolutely necessary if you have a left hand drive game like me.
