About This File

This is adifferent map then what I've been creating- It is 15 small by 15 small Rocky coast map. Thanks to solidseal for rendering the map for me- I hope this map is better for everyone as it took 2 hours to make this one- Thanks to all my supporters of my other maps and heres to new ones.

Ah, finally, something that's not a logo rendered as a region. A little progress.
But I still think you could use some, erm, 'improvement'.
Maybe use your topic on the forums and ask for a little help in making realistic maps, if that's what you're aiming for.
It's far too rugged and irregular, and the city boundaries don't even match up. The mountains are a little strange, and there are a lot of holes that should fill with water if they were like this in the real world.
2/5 instead of 1/5, because you at least tried something this time. :thumb:

Getting better, but not quite there yet. Before uploading, use the forums to get reviews along the way. Trust me, if you can do things based on other people's preferences you will get much better results.

Looks as if you went into each individual map and used god mode, I would recommend SC4terraformer as it allows you to change the entire landscape in one giant sandbox. Or better yet use landscape designer, which will generate maps for you. I think these programs are available on the STEX but I'm not sure.

Using two hours of work to justify an upload is a horrible disservice to the folks in this community who spend days, weeks, months, and sometimes years of work to get a product ready for upload.

While it is a step in the right direction, it lacks the planning and effort that I think you need in a good upload. The small tiles make this incredibly difficult to stitch together a city. If someone with a realistic slope mod tried to play on this map I doubt they could make a road from the top of one hill to the bottom without hitting a city boundary!

Like Tod said: it's impossible to connect two cities in that mountain-area. If you wanted to create a challenge, there are a few mountain-terrains on the stex that have been rated "very good". Try to find them and see what they did or take a look at some real mountain area's (Alps, Rocky mountains etc...)

I tried building on it but I couldn't. I barely managed to get a village in that terrain.

So, 2/5.
