Founded by 30's pulp science fiction writer Elrond Snubbard, the Church of Simtology has remained controversial in the decades since its original founding in the early 1950's. Snubbard devised a new set of spiritual and self-help courses espousing what he called "Dialectics," which he maintained was a new way of thinking and improving the powers of the mind. Membership in this self-labelled church ranges across the full spectrum, from formerly-jaded Hollywood types to formerly-frustrated housewives, most of whom claim that Simtology has improved their lives. But vague rumors circulate the internet about this notorious group - some label it a bankrupting "UFO cult," while some former members allege brainwashing and other sinister, subversive crimes. And despite the hefty pricetag, with advanced courses ranging in the thousands of dollars, some praise it for turning their lives around, no matter what the cost...
Three medium wealth commercial office lots with 52 jobs are included in this upload - a 2x2 lot at growth stage 5, and 2x3 and 3x2 lots both at growth stage 3. No dependencies, and all have nightlights. Stats have been modded in accordance with similar Maxis buildings, as well as some of my previous offerings.
But don't be so hasty to judge, based on TV news programs and second-hand internet gossip - stop on down and see what Snubbard and his minions in the naval uniforms are all about. Who knows, they may have figured out the path to enlightenment - even though your wallet may be lighter when you walk out the door...enjoy!
