a growable version would have to be a 6x6 lot, and would almost never develop so i'll do some testing and see if it works

He just wrote (and I quote), "No growable version planned.".

baco, 6x6 lots are actually EASY to develop if you zone the lot all at once using Control, and you have enough service demand for whatever the building might be. I would suggest trying maybe 700 Cs$$ jobs. I know I'm going to try it next time I get around to playing the game...
