About This File

Built in 1953, the Central Branch of the Grosse Pointe Public Library system is a modest neighborhood library designed by Marcel Breuer. Local patron of the arts Dexter Ferry paid for the building, as well as the mobile by Alexander Calder and the tapestry by Wassily Kandinsky inside.

This is the Dark Nite version of the Grosse Pointe Public Library, made for the darker night environment created by the Day 'n' Nite Modd.

A 4x3 library lot is included. More information can be found below.

Everyone likes to nitpick everyones bats, so I will nitpick this one. First of all, it looks too real. The textures are too detailed. The grass and trees look too green. So I will give you 10/5. Good job!

Unfortunately that's an error with the STEX (notice how it has more downloads than views?). Usually my download count is 1/2 to 2/3rds of the view count. But I appreciate everyone's comments! Thanks guys! :)

Sometimes it takes a little while for recently placed buildings to get in tune with the game's day and night. Just wait a few minutes and then switch to night again... Thanks everyone! :)

Sometimes you even have to play the entire game session without nightlights on some buildings, it's happened to me, after 2 ended sessions and the 3rd one started, nightlights FINALLY showed on one of my BATs. XD

Wow, just wow, you never cease to impress. Looks like it's out of a photo. 5/5.

Very realistic looking and generic enough to scatter across multiple cities in a region.

This is a really realistic library, a lot better than the default one. I will replace my libraries in the city with this. Thanks jasoncw, I always like your designs.

Wonderful little building, even more wonderful interior modeling and lighting. It is beautiful on its own and inconspicuous enough to fit into many environments. Really great work![/quote]
That sums it up pretty much. 5/5
