About This File

Functions just like a normal bus stop, but modelled on one found in Curitiba, Brazil. Modelled as a request from Xurros, based on a single picture I had of it.

Sure that the most common bus stops in Brazil are that simple sign with a bus picture...

So in brazil they need to have bus stops with stairs so that they can pile folks on top of the bus? Weird. Nice lot though.

I've seen a real picture in the forums, and iit looks interesting. You should have named it "tube bus stop", though.

Hey, lay off the guy. Someone in the forums, who's from Brazil, asked him if he could make a BAT of a bus-stop near his home town in Brazil... so he did, and here it is.

The name could perhaps be changed into something else but as has been states so often before: This is a model of a kind of busstops that is found in Curitiba, Brazil. It's not meant to be the ultimate Brazilian bus stop and probably most of the bus stops in that city aren't like this.

If I understand correctly it is only used on high-traffic lines and has proven to be effective because it allows faster boarding and exiting of the buses... so I was wondering if it wouldn't be realistic to let this bus stop have a significantly higher capacity than the usual bus stop?

Holy crap! Who gives a crap? LAY OFF! So what if it's not like every single bus stop in Brazil? The game wasn't even made to mimic Brazilian life in the first place! Grr ... If you don't like the capacity change it yourself. The author didn't do it for a reason (most likely).

I'd like to say two more things that wouldn't fit above. One: fantastic job. It looks amazing. Two: I'd like to see a roadtop version. :) Like a roadtop MT mod. Yeah, a mod of a mod. LOL

Actually these bus stops exists in Rio. They where designed as landmarks. In an attempt to reduce litter in the city, people can collect stuff that lies around in the street, and trade it in for a free bus ride. Quite a successful scheme. You should mod it, so it reduces litter in the streets!

Well, this bus stop is preeeetty differet from the one from Curitiba city, that, by the way, was considered having the best bus system of the world by the Mundial Bank. The difference is that the real one is awesome and this one is sooo uglyy! The real one is a glass tube...

Those bus stops are for high-tech buses. If you istil confused, the buses are just like normal buses, except there's a gap from the door to the groung, therefore that explains the stair. They don't have any of those in Rio de Janeiro.
