I love it...Everything works except that my game freezes every minute...Not sure if it's my computer(with empty map I got CPU usage: 45% - Memory use 66%) or some issue with the MOD itself -

Hi there, With the success of Cities Skylines and having so many topics, Stex, etc...plus all the others city building games in Simtropolis like SimCity, Cities XL... I would like to suggest separate all the games with there own color tabs, e.g, SimCity 4 = Red Tab, Cities Skylines = Blue, Simcity 2013 = Green and so on.....It would be much easier to identify the game that topic/news/Stex/etc belongs to.

I like that and it would be nice to be able to define that in the policies...like historical district, Gothic district and so on...this way only those kind of building would be allowed.- 307 Replies

I'm happy for them...They showed a great respect for the community and delivered a great game as promised. It's not perfect but it will be with the help from modders . I really like what they did listening the community and been very open about this game. I wish a long life to Cities Skylines.

Watched Quill18, Arumba, Rock Paper Shotgun and a feel others...Actually was kind painful to watch them since I believe I could do a better job haha . Well after watching all those videos I couldn't hold myself anymore and pre-order the deluxe version...Now is just to wait a feel more days until I can start building my own Metropolis. -

Thanks for posting this....I'm normally against pre-order games but this one is getting me so excited that I don't know how much longer I'll be able to hold myself from pre-ordering. LOL Two quick questions: 1) Can we choose bridges types? 2) Is there tunnels in the game? Didn't see any so far...Even if not at launch will tunnels be added at all? Will be possible to build Underwater tunnels (like Seikan Tunnel or Holland Tunnel)??- 91 Replies

I'm looking forward to this game but also a little confused about modding...not sure if the game will FULLY support modding...since they are planning to make extra $$ money with DLC... This is what i found on their FAQ Modding Will there be modding capabilities? Yes. There will be specially designed tools such as a map editor, building editor, 3d asset importer and beautification tool. Creations can be shared with other players via Steam Workshop. The tools are still in development but more details will be revealed later. Although Unity isn’t open source some of the actual code will be available. Colossal Order are also creating a tool to allow you to create unique parks. Will I be able to create my own road pieces with the modding tools? Yes. Can we import Cities in Motion 2 maps into Cities Skylines? It’s unlikely. Can we mod gated communities? This will be possible with some wall / gate assets, policies. Will there be DLC? Pardox are looking at releasing major expansion packs and large patches full of free stuff and some minor DLC. There will also be some kind of pre-order bonus. Is there anything that has been confirmed as NOT being in Cities on initial release? Night time but it’s likely to appear as a DLC (maybe free) Weather system Trams Bicycles Events This does not mean they will not appear as a mod, DLC or in a future expansion pack.
