Hello simtropolis finaly a long train mod this one makes freight trains have 55 cars or wagons INSTILATION : simply unzip into my documents\Sim City4\Plugins

UNINSTILATION: Simply delete the .dat

V1 origanal

V-1.2 fixed the "all vehicles are going mach9" bug

Can't believe no one's ever done this before! For those of you who think SC4D is better than Simtropolis, then just look at all the new guys coming up with all this awsome stuff!

Yay! I live in Louisiana, so this is really real. LOL i said real twice. Trains are always like this, so I like it.

oh u should update this mod make it have 2 engines if its possible too do that but still good anyway =D

Great work! In case anyone is interested, a mod like this is extremely easy to edit if you have iLive's reader (for those of you who think 55 cars is extreme). I've been using my own version (made it a few years ago) that generates freight trains that are 16-32 cars long.

Nice. 55 car trains are the only trains seen up here in the great upper midwest. There are even trains with more cars! Very realistic. 5/5 10/10 99479/99479

@ krenemo: AFAIK, the game engine does not permit complex train layouts like multiple engines and/or push/pull configurations. Bummer. :(

Nice idea. You would want to avoid grade level road crossings or face some traffic tie-ups. Good job.
