Spot on - for my "faux midwestern" farm communities!

The 'tail' of the windmill is sticking out in the wrong direction. It should be straight behind the blades. As is, the wind would turn the blades away from the wind rendering it useless.

Thanks for the comments. JMH - I saw pictures of it both ways, and I will upload the picture I worked off of later today onto my 'shmails bat designs' forum for you to see. As always, if enough people agree with you I am always willing to change for the better.

Very well done. I agree with the others about the tail. Also I thought the blades would be vertically strait.

Sorry about the double posting but I just thought about what they were used. At least were I come from their primary use is for pumping water. Could you add that to the lot?

Your windmill is wonderful, perfect for every rural community. But I have to agree to the others, the tail points into the wrong direction. I looked at the pictures in your thread, but this tail seems to be rather odd. Oh, and Trolca is right, the windmill should produce water instead of power. ;-)

Dust bowl here we come. Great design. Figures are out of whack with in game numbers. Like the idea of one for power and one for water.
